StanSP Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Also worth mentioning that if we do win the league we are automatically first seeds for the Champions League . Although I bet we'll see the likes of Man City and Arsenal complaining to UEFA that we shouldn't be just so they can avoid Real, Barca & Bayern again
foxes21 Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Whatever happens they cant really blame us can they. Its not our fault the English teams have been terrible in Europe for a good few years now
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Whatever happens they cant really blame us can they. Its not our fault the English teams have been terrible in Europe for a good few years now Indeed it is a joke, Liverpool and Man U recently got put out at the group stage didn't they? we can't do no worse than that
MC Prussian Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Come on, Gent! Everyone's watching that Belgium wonderkid Depoitre tonight. Alright, he's 25 years old already...
StanSP Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Ranieri is at Roma tonight to watch their match with Real Madrid. Must be scouting for next season (P.S I know he's a Roma fan)
MC Prussian Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 sexy goal by draxler. That touch by Kruse that almost made it 4-0 to Wolfsburg, though. Oo-aahh.
StanSP Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Since Ronaldo scored this game has definitely got better. Roma having to go for it (finally) which means Madrid can actually get through their defence on more occasions Dzeko should have scored then.
possiblygeorge Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Real Madrid's defence was solid. Interesting stat being no Club has ever progressed after losing the first leg by 2+ goals. Almost writes AS Roma off then. Also, what was that explosion at the end?

Almost writes AS Roma off then. Also, what was that explosion at the end? it was a flare or firework I think. and that's not true - Deportivo lost against Milan 4-1 in first stage then won the second leg 4-0 and progressed. Memorable Champions League game!
Nalis Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Maybe its after losing the home leg by 2+ goals but I'm sure its happened at least once before?

Memorable Champions League game! The broadcaster mentioned the stat. the Champions League Twitter mentions different, all good
possiblygeorge Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Make of this what you will, could've been a smoke bomb by one of the fans
possiblygeorge Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 ah, home leg tie. makes more sense. Was streaming the game and they had Fox Sports 1 (US) it and they said at some point post-game the stat that i mentioned, CL Twitter account made more sense
Dan Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 I know Barcelona became the first to come down from a 2-0 deficit a couple of years ago when they beat AC Milan 4-2 on aggregate.
AKCJ Posted 18 February 2016 Posted 18 February 2016 I know Barcelona became the first to come down from a 2-0 deficit a couple of years ago when they beat AC Milan 4-2 on aggregate. Patooooo Edit, different game but great goal regardless.
fazzyfox Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 On one hand I want Arsenal to be humiliated, on the other hand I want there to be as many meaningful, exhausting, bone crunching games for them as possible. Best hope is a 0-2 tonight so they still play the first team in the 2nd leg (a 6-0 defeat with life bans issued to Sanchez and Cocklin for being t**ts and several hamstrings pinging because the grass was a bit too long).
johnny the fox Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 I think we would beat Barcelona with 2% possession..
Kitchandro Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 Cottee is talking so much shit on SSN. Every week he's whinging about too many games and the need for a winter break just for the benefit of the big 4 and England (anyone would have thought he actually played for one of them). So Barcelona aren't better than Arsenal then. Germany aren't better than England. Nah, nah nah nah. They just have loads of rest. Even Charlie Nicholas is making him look a twat.
