Fox 4 Life Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 They can't have even met him if he's still in the states. Skype interview for a premier league managers job?!
kingpowerout Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 He may be a very good coach and coming in as an assistant or head coach. Jon Rudkin and Andrew Neville I'm sure know that to progress we need a man who has managed at the top level, they are involved with the recruitment process and would therefore not allow this guy to be the sole manager. We need someone who would instantly earn the respect of the players, this guy wouldn't. I've a feeling he's being lined up alongside a bigger name or a DOF The roller coaster ride continues...
Swiss_tony Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I live 50 miles from Sacramento and I'd never even heard of the team that's how low the USL is on the football pyramid. It's like the conference of US soccer. He knows manderic from pompey, so it could be true, but god help us if it is. He's had no success anywhere, was fired from two MLS jobs and was out of work for 3 years before starting at Sacramento. Surely this means we're either keeping the backroom or appointing a name DoF to guide him. If not i take back everything i said about the owners.
stripeyfox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I am getting a little tired of getting texts that say "Preki is gonna be the Leicester manager? Hahahahahahahahaha" I didn't know Pearson had your number?
The_77 Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Guys, he might only be on his way to Atlanta United FC...
TheSomersetFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 absolute confidence in this chap to surpass Levein and Peter Taylor
Kitchandro Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 To everyone who wanted Pearson gone....you'll never realise how good we had it with him. In fairness, even in defence of people like Dangerous Tiger, I don't think anyone would expect us to replace him with some of the wankers we are being linked with.
RowlattsFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 If it's work with a director of football why him? Could have just gave Phillips the gig. This is so random it is unbelievable.
EnderbyFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Who's not to say that Hiddink didn't make this call...not the owners. Then the Dutch fans were right, he is going senile
The Doctor Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Imagine having Ranieri declare his interest and then appointing some utter nomark from the 3rd tier of a poor league system. This would be like grabbing someone from the Isthmian league...
Babylon Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 If it's work with a director of football why him? Could have just gave Phillips the gig. This is so random it is unbelievable. Only reasoning would be to pick the team the owners tells him to.
ScouseFox Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 In fairness, even in defence of people like Dangerous Tiger, I don't think anyone would expect us to replace him with some of the wankers we are being linked with. Who did anyone think we'd get?
Kitchandro Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Him and Hiddink is the only thing that makes sense. Guus said he would only take a DOF type role and the thais clearly have a hard on for him How would that make sense? Are you saying Guus asked for this bloke to be manager?
Zapp Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 I'm so underwhelmed at this news. Unless I'm missing something, what has he done to suggest he can take us forward?
Kitchandro Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Who did anyone think we'd get? I dunno but not Cotterril or this bloke
TMELcfc Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 Can we delete this thread and pretend it isn't happening?
indierich06 Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 This could have legs, especially if they want to raise the profile of the club in america..... all about marketing and getting their brand around the globe. Could have completely the opposite effect if they are not careful That'd be like trying to raise a foreign club's profile in England by hiring ****ing Micky Mellon!
ramboacdc Posted 8 July 2015 Author Posted 8 July 2015 Maybe it's a link and we are going to send our academy players there? Yeah..It's that...Please say it's that.
Fox92 Posted 8 July 2015 Posted 8 July 2015 To everyone who wanted Pearson gone....you'll never realise how good we had it with him. Agree. It just a shame it takes something like this. What a utterly stupid decision to sack him.
