ramboacdc Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Could he be on for a return? We know someone is being interviewed today, the odds have flew in on the exchanges and the bookies are panicking too. Can anyone see this coming off? I can't as i think he will see the Ireland job as the pinnacle of his career and guiding them to the euros and hopefully the world cup will be on his mind. saying that his win % with Ireland is only 31.25% currently. thought's/opinions?
Fox92 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 He'll never ever return. Why do you think he's never managed Nottingham Forest? Because he doesn't do returns. (Granted he played for Norwich too but not as long and as legendary as he was at Forest). Would you take him nowadays anyway? Given the job he did at Sunderland?
TheReaper87 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 He's been seen at the ground, mate works in the shop
Mayofox Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 His Irish managerial future isn't looking too rosy, but he's done the best he could with the quality available. Looks like Ireland will miss out on the Euro's, and I think he's said if they don't make it he will leave. The recent draw re seeding for the next World Cup, has put Ireland in Pot 4, ranking them on a par with the Faroe Islands and Estonia.
benpicko Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 He's been seen at the ground, mate works in the shop :^) swear down if that's today's interview
escos Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Could see him coming back in the 'supervisory' role, with Lennon as head coach.
ramboacdc Posted 10 July 2015 Author Posted 10 July 2015 He's been seen at the ground, mate works in the shop i do love post's like this.
Fox92 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 I wouldn't want him to anyway because I don't want him to undo everything he's done in the past.
RoboFox Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 I wouldn't want him to return. Why taint all those good memories if it doesn't work out?
TheReaper87 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 i do love post's like this. At least I didn't say Morrisons, I have no mates anyhow, just a figure of speech

No.
lgfualol Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Could see him coming back in the 'supervisory' role, with Lennon as head coach. I think that would actually make me cry. What a boring combination.
Fox92 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 He's been seen at the ground, mate works in the shop Classic!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 I'd take him with Robertson as his assistant over some of the others we've been linked with. Although i'd like the current backroom staff as continuity so if Robertson didn't come long it might work with Shakespeare and Walsh too.
Strokes Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 He'll never ever return. Why do you think he's never managed Nottingham Forest? Because he doesn't do returns. (Granted he played for Norwich too but not as long and as legendary as he was at Forest). Would you take him nowadays anyway? Given the job he did at Sunderland? So he does do returns then?
Fox92 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Could see him coming back in the 'supervisory' role, with Lennon as head coach. To be fair, I could sort of see that but that's probably coming from the heart as a Leicester City fan.
Fox92 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 So he does do returns then? Difference though isn't there. He's a hero at Forest and would never undo that, and I think it's the same here. He's said it before.
ealingfox Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 The pain when he gets us relegated would be inexplicably excruciating.
RowlattsFox Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Not for me, I just can't see it working out. If we're going to gamble I'd rather it be on a up and coming manager.
escos Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 To be fair, I could sort of see that but that's probably coming from the heart as a Leicester City fan. He didn't do much coaching the last time he was here so I doubt he has changed that much.
