This season's expectations.

With the owners and CR plastering the fact that Claudio is the man to take us to the next level, what would everyone consider to be realistic expectations for next season?

If he spends a decent wedge of money and only finishes 17-14th would that be enough for us as fans? And more importantly would the owners accept that?

Just survive and hopefully comfortably.

This maybe a good cup run.. Europa League a possibility maybe in a year or two?

That CR justifies his appointment so we don't have to go through all this for at least 3 years.

Same as every season, an improvement on the last one. So 13th or above.

Unless we spend absolutely ridiculous money I see no reason for that to change.

Another transition period again. So I'd be happy with staying up and building on that next year. Anything else would be a bonus.

Our final position flattered us last season so I'd be happy finishing around the same position this year but with a little more comfort.

If we can avoid being sucked into the relegation battle towards the latter stages, that'll mean success for CR's first season in charge.

Stay up and hopefully reach a cup semi final

I'm not sure which way it will go, but I think it will be one of two extremes - Claudio sacked by Christmas because he can't get this group of players to work and we end up with Big Sam or similar but relegated; or top half and a Cup win.

I can't see it being an uneventful, no-drama season of midtable obscurity (but I'd happily take that right now given the £££ for TV in the Prem from 2016).

I'd be happy with 17th or above, and maybe a cup quarter final / semi final would be a bonus.

I'll be happy with survival this season, even scraping it provided CR doesn't blow a load of money on ill-fitting or over-the-hill players. The squad needs a mid-field boost for certain, that's a far bigger priority than adding to our already decent attacking options

Cup run would be a bonus, but CR will need a little time to adjust so I'm not too bothered if he doesn't put too much emphasis on this for this season
