Great player but could be a blessing in disguise, we couldn't rely on him this season he would have needed replacing regardless he's 35 in a few weeks on a side note does anyone want to buy next seasons shirt with CAMBIASSO 19 printed on the back by any chance?

Fair play to Claudio i say. He was obviously playing the game of holding out for as long as poss to get the best deal and Claudio has called his bluff.....better to know now and move on than string it out like last year and risk not signing anybody.

Totally agree Claudio did the right thing we can't wait till 2 weeks into the season again its not fair on the other players

Feels like when "the one" dumped you when you were about 8.

Imagine him playing for WBA or Stoke next season instead it would be like being dumped for the fat, smelly, ginger kid at School

So much for CR contacts.

I wonder how long this would be. know shut up and get behind cr if not **** off and go and support the trees

Clutching at straws but is that his Facebook page and not someone who has randomly made it? It doesn't seem to go that far back.

As if Ranieri didn't have a big enough job already to win the fans over, people will now assume he's the reason Esteban hasnt renewed his contract.

Well you have to admit it has legs. Given the reports that they had a bust up at Inter and when he subbed him he sat on the bench crying and sobbing (Although to give some balance I understand that was due to fans booing him off the pitch).

At least we have closure.

Onwards we go.

First test for Rudkin and Ranieri failed.

How so offered a contract and said No, Ranieri said he wanted him and was put out on OS hardly his fault.

Should've signed him when he was 22 years old and at Real Madrid.

Oh, wait.

Not sure if you're suggesting that I'm blaming the club, but I'm not.
