Do Leicester fans have class?

the queston is does esteban have class

if he joins another premier league club then he does not.

Wtf lol why? It's like an englishman playing for boca juniors for one season, and then choosing to play for another Argentinian side. He's been here one season jeeze. Going on like he's a club legend. Like he is at inter milan

If Esteban goes on to join a premier league club, will we show class and show him the respect he deserves? Or will you boo him on his return?

That's how you define class?

If players are more bothered about their pay cheques than us why should we be expected to laud them?

What Leicester fans need, more than class, is self-respect. As much as I was desperate for Cambiasso to sign, we should have the attitude that it was a privelege for him to play for us. That's how you build a passionate fanbase, thinking the sun shines out of the clubs arse and if anyone doesn't want to part of it, it's their loss.

I respect Cambiasso for his committed performances for us up to now, but he can't expect a hero's welcome if he comes back with another premiership club, because all that suggests to me is that he thinks they are better than us and that he could do better than us.

I can understand a player wanting to play at a higher level, or the Champions League maybe, but going to a club who finished a couple of places above us, it's insulting.

I know I'll applaud him. Did a lot while he was here and clearly very appreciative of the club. I'm sure the vast majority will see that as good reason to give him a warm welcome if he returns.

I'm disappointed he's gone but I see no reason why joining a PL club should be seen as some sort of betrayal.

If he goes to a club that is at a similar level to us then I won't clap, I won't boo because I think booing is just pathetic in any circumstance and is a burden on the game. I digress, I will be disappointed if he went to a club like west Brom, villa etc.

If he goes to a bigger club then I will respect his decision and clap, because fair play to him for furthering his career yet again.

And what if we're in deep relegation trouble and he scores against us?

This season is a whole different kettle of fish. If the shit hits the fan it won't seem like such a good natured reunion just because we stayed  up last year.

This thread could run and run. Until he announces tomorrow that he's off to the MLS. Then it won't.

I doubt very much that he will end up at another Premier League club.

Don't know him personally, of course, but having followed Inter for years, he has an ethos of being a one-club man per country.

He had an option to go to Spain last summer when he came to us – and plenty of offers to stay in Serie A too – but he said he couldn't play for other teams in Italy and hinted the same about Real/Spain.

I'll applaud him although it'll be hard, especially if it's someone like West Ham or Villa.

Thanks Cam, your run-in was special, as was the whole squads from Kasper & Huth through to Vardy

Before that I don't get the fuss on here, certainly didn't live up to your name & that contributed significantly to our league position

But that pass Vs Chelsea <3 was pure sex

However, 10 good/great games does not a legend make

So, **** him if he goes for a rival's coin

The original reason he said he might not stay was because of his family wasn't it? so if he was to stay in the prem it would be a bit of a kick in the teeth and I personally would lose a lot of respect for him, wouldn't boo him but definitely wouldn't clap and cheer him either.

Applauding before the game doesn't equate to congratulating him for scoring against us. If we're in a scrap I'll leave it, I only feel comfortable with these sort of niceties when the competition isn't as intense.

Why I was asking last night if anyone knew his reasons for leaving (if he'd given them etc) is because I think that's important.

If he's leaving to return to his home country or to have a crack at the MLS, that's one thing. I get that. It's a final challenge in his career.

However, if he leaves us to join another mid table Prem side well...why?

Not money I don't expect.

Ranieri has publically stated he wanted him to stay (and has praised him to the hilt). So I don't think him becoming the boss is the issue.

It'll will be interesting to see where he goes.

Of course, he's Cambiasso so he can do no wrong but I personally feel a teensy bit peeved he's taken this long to make his mind up.

We've got less than three weeks now to find a replacement.

Class, I think, would have been to say few weeks ago, that's it and thank you.

He's been good stuff, I wish him all the best. Though I'd now like to see him NOT join West Ham for instance as that would make little sense. I'll feel better about it if he goes somewhere for a final swansong, so to speak.

I'll just ignore him like I do any other returning player.

Think it was Danny N'Guessan who returned a few years back it was like a heroes welcome for him.

I'll be massively disappointed if he goes to another premiership club, I don't see what it would achieve at his stage in his career. Assuming it's anyone from mid table downwards I'd be annoyed enough to not clap or cheer. Won't ever boo the guy though, he doesn't owe us anything.

I imagine he'll go abroad and try something else or maybe go back to Italy. There's possibly something in the besiktas link, that'd be a great move for him.

I remember the same happening, I think when Hume came back... it was like a mass w*nk off and actually quite embarrassing.

I'd be really disappointed if he went to another Premiership club, unless it was a top 6 slide. IF he does, and he plays against us, I think he's probably earnt a final chorus of 'He's Magic' before the game, and then that's it. I don't want to see our fans applauding every time he gets the ball, or singing his name on 19 minutes or anything stupid like that. He is a footballing legend and it was a privilege to see him play, especially in a City shirt... but he's not a club legend and shouldn't be treated as such.
