Do Leicester fans have class?

Do our fans have class? Some do and some don't, judging by the slagging off even our most successful players and managers get though (even in public sometimes) we certainly have more than our fair share of those who fall down on the wrong side of the line though.

I never thought Cambiasso was coming back anyway, even with Pearson in charge, he seemed to be saying his goodbyes on the last day to me and I imagine the summer upheavel and appointment of a manager he (allegedly) fell out with probably confirmed it, if he was still genuinely thinking about it the public ultimatum was never going to go down well either.

I'm not really fussed who he goes to, it's totally upto him and he'll be getting a warm round of applause from me if he turns at the stadium again whatever colour he is wearing.

Why the hell would anyone boo Cambiasso? The man acted with dignity and was committed throughout his season with us, he didn't come here to be a mercenary and pick up a last pay cheque and I've no reason to think he'll plan his future move on the sole basis of money offered. Think about the ex players and football personalities we would boo and see if you think Cambiasso deserves to be on that list...Mattock, Dennis Wise, Warnock, Barton etc

I'll applaud him as a sign of my thanks for his part in our survival last year and then move on. As we all should do.

If he goes to a London club a polite clap before kick off

If he joins a club in a city similar to Leicester, I.e  a bit of a dump.....silence.

Either of the above and we are well above them in the league, both a clap and a little cheer.

I remember the same happening, I think when Hume came back... it was like a mass w*nk off and actually quite embarrassing.

I'd be really disappointed if he went to another Premiership club, unless it was a top 6 slide. IF he does, and he plays against us, I think he's probably earnt a final chorus of 'He's Magic' before the game, and then that's it. I don't want to see our fans applauding every time he gets the ball, or singing his name on 19 minutes or anything stupid like that. He is a footballing legend and it was a privilege to see him play, especially in a City shirt... but he's not a club legend and shouldn't be treated as such.

:appl:

I'm working on a "Cambiasshole" banner in case he signs for Quim Sherwood

Hahaha lol

I could just imagine him walking out for West Ham applauding us expecting it back but he looks at the kop to see rapturous booing and a banner which reads:

"Cambiasshole"

He just pretends not to see it and jogs back, gutted.

It'll be reversible with "Cambiclasso" on the other side in case he doesn't sign for another Prem team

This sums up my opinion perfectly too!

If he's playing for Weat Ham he will get ****ing slaughtered and that's the way it should be, he's no club legend only been here a year and wasn't fit until Xmas, I'm not say he's a talented footballer though.

I was being tongue in cheek, will people really hate him if he signs for a mid-table or lower team?

Being honest I didn't think he'd come back, it was a privilege for him to play for us for a season and he was doing us a huge favour - owes us nothing. I'll respect him whatever he does, he obviously was never going to be a servant for us just a hugely skilled & experienced player who fancied a different challenge

Let's be honest, we had no right to sign him last season - he's way above us. We'll look back in 10 years time when we're lingering around mid-table in the Championship and say "remember that season we had Cambiasso? That was bloody mental."

Hahaha yeah when we played Barnsley in the Championship near the start of the season in 2009.

Every time he went to take a corner infront of SK1 it seemed like the whole block was stood up applauding him, Christ that was complete cringe.

If my girlfriend leaves me for a guy who is slightly better looking and earns slightly more money I won't be congratulating her and wishing her well in the future.

It will be interesting to see where he goes next. If it's another country I'll wish him well as this season will probably be his last as a professional footballer and he wants one more new experience.

If he stays in England it had better be a top 6 club otherwise I'll be spitting venom.

Fuck him if he thinks he can go somewhere like West Ham and expect a good reception. I'm more of a Leicester City fan than a football fan and as far as I'm concerned you're either with us or against us and if it's somewhere like West Ham or Aston Villa he's nailed his colours firmly to the mast.

The longer he goes without announcing his new club the more I suspect it will be an English club. Either way I'm pretty sure we'll know by the weekend.

Pretty much how proper Leicester fans think!

The most patient ones do, not the ones that expect certain things to happen in a flash else we're doomed (the latter, is most on this side of the forum).

Yeah, any team like Villa I will lose all respect for him. If he goes Liverpool or something I won't do anything.

That's how you define class?

If players are more bothered about their pay cheques than us why should we be expected to laud them?

What Leicester fans need, more than class, is self-respect. As much as I was desperate for Cambiasso to sign, we should have the attitude that it was a privelege for him to play for us. That's how you build a passionate fanbase, thinking the sun shines out of the clubs arse and if anyone doesn't want to part of it, it's their loss.

I respect Cambiasso for his committed performances for us up to now, but he can't expect a hero's welcome if he comes back with another premiership club, because all that suggests to me is that he thinks they are better than us and that he could do better than us.

I can understand a player wanting to play at a higher level, or the Champions League maybe, but going to a club who finished a couple of places above us, it's insulting.

It's not insulting. The bloke is a multimillionaire. He had lived in Milan and Madrdid, and eerr Leicester.

If I was him, I would be happy to spend a year in London.

Leicester has nothing for anyone with wealth. Timo Restaurant for a meal and Cosy club for a drink is as good as it gets. It's not insulting for him to want to base himself in a place that he will enjoy living in compared to what our City has to offer.

Leicester and Esterban don't really mix. We did well to get him for a year.

People are going on about Balloteli. Can you imagine him in Leicester? It just isn't cosmopolitan enough or decent enough for the very wealthy football millionaires.

The owners wouldn't live here that is for sure

So how will we all feel when those 'appy 'ammers all start singing 'He's magic you know ....' ?? Just ignore them :dunno:

We start singing Konchesky songs of course, that'll show them...

We should give him a standing ovation pre kick-off but when the whistle blows, get Was to break the little bastards legs.

Get the Gurkhas to attack him like during the Falklands. Oh no sorry they ran off snivelling like girls as well.blokes a full on cock
