Bamba's Babes Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Enough c0ck battling. Back to the pie in the sky transfer rumour.
TJB-fox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 The Bundesliga is 'arguably stronger than the prem'. No, no it definitely isnt
Gerard Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 I am not sure his third party owners will be worth that much. If they are a company that owns football players, they make money by selling players. If they don't sell, they don't make money. They probably only do a few large deals every couple of years, so I'd imagine they'd like the cash flow. They would also know it takes one injury or bad season and he is worthless. If they are a local businessman who has bank rolled him in his early career, you'd also want to cash in early to recoup your investment. The club however could probably wait it out. But they are probably not that rich either, it is Brazil not England. They also don't want to get into a situation that the player is dictating what price he should be sold at, they're not just going to shrug their shoulders and say okay and let him move to BL for €5.2 less. They'll really begrudge doing business with BL for €9.8 when the price is €15m. I don't see them giving in here easiliy at all and will make things difficult for Aranguiz for the money he's going to cost them.
Haydos Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 The Bundesliga is 'arguably stronger than the prem'. No, no it definitely isnt Well it definitely is. More success in Europe, stronger coefficient, much better national team etc

Not get him a Birthday cake?
lestajigs Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 The Bundesliga is 'arguably stronger than the prem'. No, no it definitely isnt At the minute id say bundesliga have better quality teams
Gerard Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Well it definitely is. More success in Europe, stronger coefficient, much better national team etc Maybe currently but Bayern Munich aside they don't have another team as much as a draw as our top 4. Also their mid table and lower teams are much poorer than ours so we'll only get stronger long term. You just have to look at the likes of Leicester now financially dominating top clubs in premium leagues like Marseille and BL. Soon the the top players will either play for massive European clubs or in somewhere in England.
4everfox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 LISTEN TO YOURSELF CHRIST. BAYER AREN'T GENK OR SOME OTHER NO MARK, THEY QUALIFIED FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BY FINISHING IN THE TOP 4 OF (ARGUABLY) A STRONGER LEAGUE THAN THE PREM. They will never win the Champions League, they will struggle to even get to the knockout stages. The top four of England are stronger then the top four of Germany.
AKCJ Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 They will never win the Champions League, they will struggle to even get to the knockout stages. The top four of England are stronger then the top four of Germany. Got any facts to back that up? How did those 4 English teams get on in Europe vs those 4 German teams I wonder?
Gerard Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 How does it make it difficult for Aranguiz? What will they do? Not get him a Birthday cake? They won't sell him to BL. So there here is in six months time, approaching 27 years of age on £10,000 a week and still playing in Brazil. Aranguiz has more to lose than his owners. For them there is always another player, he only has one career and he's fast approaching his late 20's.
Molly Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Well, if you're going to criticise him you could have at least spelt it correctly in your first post! Why? Didn't you understand what I meant?

No doubt about it that the premier league has more money then the German, and even better players, bar the odd couple at Bayen, but as for the quality of the teams I think they work a lot better as a team, if that makes sense
gerrytaggart Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 German football can be compared to Scottish football....one or two quality teams, the rest making up the numbers.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Remove Bayern and all four of our CL teams are stronger... and it gets worse for the bundesliga once you look beyond the European teams ... some of the teams right at the bottom end would be mid table championship sides at best... The bundesliga has had a good 2-3 years in Europe but that isn't always the best indicator. It is a strong league but I still think La Liga and the PL are ahead overall... Bundesliga would be third and then Serie A.

AKCJ Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 German football can be compared to Scottish football....one or two quality teams, the rest making up the numbers. it baffles me how one can get this ignorant.
Alex_LCFC Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 With the bundesliga, bayern will 9/10 always win the league. Were over here any of our top 4 could win it. However in Germany there standards teams outside the top for I.e 7 or 8 teams could make there top 4 were as over here outside our top 4 only 2-3 teams could challenge them.
Stevosevic Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Bundesliga, where the best club regularly buys the best player from the second best club, yeh sounds great. It's like Chelsea buying Aguero this summer, wouldn't happen.

Mike Oxlong Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Why? Didn't you understand what I meant? Yes, I understand. He misspelt infinitesimal. Then you picked him up on it having misspelt the same word in your earlier post.
gerrytaggart Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 it baffles me how one can get this ignorant. You are on foxestalk mate....I will contradict myself in three posts time. Go and have a cuppa.
AKCJ Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Bundesliga, where the best club regularly buys the best player from the second best club, yeh sounds great. It's like Chelsea buying Aguero this summer, wouldn't happen. Whats your point? That there isn't as much money in Germany?
4everfox Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 1st v 1st - Chelsea vs Bayern Munich 2nd v 2nd - Manchester City vs Wolfsburg 3rd v 3rd - Arsenal vs Borussia Monchengladbach 4th v 4th - Manchester United vs Bayer Leverkusen The only team from Germany I'd back to win there are Bayern Munich.
Molly Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 Yes, I understand. He misspelt infinitesimal. Then you picked him up on it having misspelt the same word in your earlier post. No you don't. I misspelled it and then he told me that a word he misspelled meant something that it didn't because he misspelled it. There was no need for his reply other than that he is a pedant. I pointed that out. You jumped in with your boots on because you're a macho man 1st v 1st - Chelsea vs Bayern Munich 2nd v 2nd - Manchester City vs Wolfsburg 3rd v 3rd - Arsenal vs Borussia Monchengladbach 4th v 4th - Manchester United vs Bayer Leverkusen The only team from Germany I'd back to win there are Bayern Munich. Keep going. Who do we get to beat?
