Apparently there has been a delay because he didn't put his 150ml nail varnish remover in a clear bag.

The big queen!

Seriously though, I would almost rather get someone else (if that were possible) and tell this bloke to go **** himself after all this bullshit.

It's a piss take now

Think he'll be a very good signing for us and regardless of wether he can reach the standards he's played at previously in his career, he's certainly better than what we've got (imo). Could do with a fresh challenge

I doubt he would arrive on a Thomson charter flight.

More likely to be full of old duffers returning from Sorrento.

So he is likely to arrive on a Thomson charter flight.

Why the rumoured 3 year contract btw? Thought we only offered 30+s a one year contract with options to extend, especially strange we'd offer a contract that long to somebody who's fell off in quality so much over the past few years

We'd not pay £5 million for someone and only give them a 1-2 year deal.

Didn't Morgan sign a 3 year deal last summer?

For the fee. The drop off in quality is well-documented, and i was shot down for mentioning it (page 30 probably,)  but our scouts must be aware of this, and would have looked at his last season for Napoli as well as his previous years. Comes down to what we're getting, I think we're getting a good player who adds to our midfield options - although it's a risky buy if we're offering a 3 year contract. My only hope is that he won't be on an enormous wage, but have a fee per game system / two year contract + option to renew for third year. He's definitely dropped off from his 'prime', but not deteriorating at the rate of someone like Brahimi.

I'd be fine if it was an experienced signing for if Drinky and King/Kanté aren't performing suddenly, but I'm sure I heard a quote saying he'd be starting? Seems like a big commitment 3 years as well, though yeah hopefully what you've said is true. Going to be honest and say I've not seen much of him but even non-Napoli fans are going on about how average he is. Drinkwater looks incredibly promising at the moment and Kanté looked a brilliant talent in Ligue 1, would be sad seeing either of them needlessly having their career hampered because we're starting somebody for experience and nothing else

Well every signing for the 1st team that isn't a backup GK is brought in to challenge for a starting spot, Inler would definitely challenge King for his place, he won't be put in the starting 11 straight away, no chance.

I'm really not bothered if he comes either way now to be honest

I think this is an odd attitude. Why should the fact that a transfer takes a long time make you want a player less? Surely it's all about ability and attitude? Cambiasso took a long time too, even longer than Inler as I recall but I'm fvcking glad he did.
