Yeah, and I think he's a perfect fit too if we're playing 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 with wing backs. I remember being broken down plenty of times when one of the extra CBs went into midfield to sweep up the ball unsuccessfully, which created gaps for opposition to exploit - it was Upson when he played, was more comfortable when Was/Wes/Huth partnered. He seems like the kind of guy who could easily step into midfield, knick the ball from an opposing striker or loose pass, carry the ball 40 yards then feed it off to Schlupp to win a corner.

My Dane bros think he's good too, but, good for the Danish league and perhaps the step up to the PL will be a jump, but Amartey is young and seems to have a hell of a lot of composure and talent in his vids from what I saw. Spend the cash on him now.

If Kante - Amartey are partnering, it's fit for holding mid in a 4-2-3-1
