foxfanazer Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Jamie Vardy has been fined and sent on a diversity awareness course. Weren't they that dance troop off Britain's got talent? Joking aside I think the club have got this spot on. The fine will go to charities
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Sounds the right result. Lets put this sorry saga behind us.
sdb Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Hope he takes it on the chin and picks up where he left off on Saturday.
MPH Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 He very quickly apologized too... which i think has helped his cause...
justfoxes Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Let's hope the gutter press can move on also and leave the lad to play his football !!
MPH Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 He's also the sort of person who takes the stresses out on the opposition. He'll have an absolutely storming game now.

aefevans Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Jamie Vardy has been fined and sent on a diversity awareness course. Weren't they that dance troop off Britain's got talent? Sounds like that thing I had to do when I got caught doing 40 in a 30 zone.
purpleronnie Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 He quickly apologized too... which i think has helped his cause... Made to. Do you think if it wasn't made public he would have regretted what he said and apologized?

MPH Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Made to. Do you think if it wasn't made public he would have regretted what he said and apologized? Thats irrelevant. Also are you sure he was made to? I simply said it helped his cause to apologize quickly.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 https://twitter.com/adamsmith_1/status/631876878459080708 scenes , I would hardly compare the two incidents...
fleckneymike Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Someone needs to take the audio off this and place it on a clip with Ranieri and Vardy
Jordan Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 I'm very disappointed in Vardy for acting that way at the casino, he was completely out of line. But if Shinji Okazaki is happy to move on, then I'm not going to pretend to be outraged by the conclusion of this, which is fair enough.

Guest MattP Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 Complete hypocrisy given previous club statements but realistically the only sensible thing we could do. No doubt whatsoever if he was a disposal youth team player he'd be a goner.
The Doctor Posted 13 August 2015 Posted 13 August 2015 https://twitter.com/adamsmith_1/status/631876878459080708 scenes In fairness, he was probably sacked for the whole hiring a prostitute and filming a sex tape on company time thing more than hopper saying something racist.

But if Shinji Okazaki is happy to move on, then I'm not going to pretend to be outraged by the conclusion of this, which is fair enough. This post reminds of the scene in The Office (UK) where he tells the joke about the Royal family and because the black guy doesn't get offended he thinks its fine.I think this is a sensible and quick resolution

But if Shinji Okazaki is happy to move on, then I'm not going to pretend to be outraged by the conclusion of this, which is fair enough. Come on... It's all fair game Vardy having a word with Okazaki and clearing the air about no offense caused etc, but (as reported) apologising to Shinji and us/media building up Okazaki as a sort of receiver of abuse is pissing me off beyond belief. Vardy doesn't and didn't have to apologise to Shinji, he had to make sure they could carry on working as professionals - if Vardy was to apologise to one person to the face, it's the guy he insulted at the casino. Reminds me of..
