Ozwin Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Kante looked a bit lost when he first came on but when he catches stride that boy can run.
RobHawk Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 It's amazing how confident the players look. Not only are we still playing. High temp game, but our players are oozing class. We look so good right now!
dedlock Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Well deserved win. CR has built well on the foundation left by NP. It's looking good!
ForzaFerrari Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 You'd rather drop Drinky than King after these first two matches? Well done Kante, but I don't know where to place Kante in the lineup right now...
Raw Dykes Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Fantastic result! We were lucky at the end of the first half with Kasper's clumsy challenge, but we looked great going forward again in the first half. Second half we were right up against it and I thought we'd probably lose until the subs happened and we slowed the game right down. Took the piss with the timewasting a bit at times. I think we would benefit greatly from having a player like Inler when seeing games out. Hopefully we get him, or someone like him. RDL wasn't totally convincing today, and obviously SImpson isn't an option at RB on account of the fact that he's a scumbag and he is also shite. The only other option we have is Was, but he's not really PL full back material anymore. I think we should probably have another dip into the market. 100% start to the season, and finally won at Upton Park. Lovely stuff.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I can argue this Leicester side would beat O'Neill's side... and comfortably
Spudulike Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 When asked about the City fans did Claudio just say 'yes, they have a beautiful ass' ??
whoareyaaa Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Kante looked a bit lost when he first came on but when he catches stride that boy can run. A couple of great interventions as well which put us on the attack, plus like you say he has some pace on him will be a solid starter soon, he spots the danger and breaks up the play with ease just needs a few full games.
Dylster Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Okazaki, Mahrez and Vardy really are going to scare the shit out of some defense's this season. RDL was the only negative today, got caught ball watching and out of possession too many times. I thought De Laet played great today in the first half. Footnote75 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I spent a lot of last season feeling constantly bothered that we simply weren't good enough. This season I'm wondering how far we can go.
kingcarr21 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 9 Wins 1 draw 1 defeat in last 11 Premier League games. That is quite simply amazing.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I thought De Laet played great today in the first half. I thought De Laet played great today in the first half. Agreed, but under pressure he isn't a defender ... gets easily beaten ... great when we are on top though, always looking to get forward..
CKB Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Chuffed with the result, played well 1st half and won ugly second half. But De Laet is not a PL standard right back, we have to sort that area out
Sharpe's Fox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Credit to Claudio he's got Drinky controlling games again. Huth was a rock again. Think we need to find a way of closing out games while keeping some attacking threat. Vardy, Mahrez and Albrighton were finished after 70 minutes.
DennisNedry Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I missed the first 15 mins of the second half and the subs - but it seems they made the difference? We got battered in all honesty, so Claudio brought on Kante for Shinji to beef up the midfield.
benpicko Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Think De Laet's looked better in a back 3 in the premiership than in a back 4
Frank to be Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Great first half but they battered us at the start of the second. Ranieri made changes and it was nervy watching us close the game out, I'd have preferred that we hadn't sat back so early, but it worked, so it doesn't matter. Ten wins from safety

weller54 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Substitutions spot on again today by CR.. Dare I say it but how many times last season did NP make all the wrong substitution decisions!!?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 RDL is being played as he is versatile enough to switch between RB/RWB/CB depending on the formation change during the game.

Ten wins from safety It wasn't that nervy, changes made and West Ham didn't have a chance... great tactical change from Ranieri
foxfanazer Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 The substitution to bring Kanté on was pivotal in us holding on imo
RedSoxUK Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Okazaki again a bundle of class, Vardy did well considering his early yellow and tiring because we sat back. The way we invited pressure and let West Ham play in 'the west haaaaam way' was very frustrating to watch, and as sweaty as I became, I couldn't look beyond them snatching a goal or two and win it from us; that needs to be worked on because we can't go on sitting back, West Ham were extremely wasteful and could easily have killed us in that 2nd half, probably the least enthusiastic performance from a 2nd half i've seen in years. That being said I thought Drinkwater was fantastic and non-stop from start to finish, didn't do a lot wrong for the second week in a row, same for Huth, King, Albrighton. Ben-eh needs to adapt because that tackle on Cresswell was beyond stupid, and from the time i've seen of him in his few appearances so far, he's not ready to play.
