Second half, we were by far second best but dealt with their threat fairly well. Although, I found westham to be very one dimensional. Lots of crosses in to the box with not much else. All in all, we deserved to win and it shows that we are capable of winning games in multiple ways.

Big_Nige Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Drinkwater and King absolutely superb today. Mahrez goal was pure class. I hope it gets the praise it deserves on MOTD later. Really battled hard in that 2nd half and while West Ham put us under the cosh I though we defended resolutely. Kasper a little lucky to not give a pen away in the first half, and De Laet beaten a bit easily at times are the only negatives. Great subs by Ranieri, really took the sting out of the game. I wonder if the experts in the media are starting to eat their words yet?
