DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Well "Claudio's Dambusters" have done it again. It's early days yet, but the experience and know how of Claudio, appears to be showing through already. He is a shrewd master tactician, which is just what we need. He is a man who appears to have a calming influence, that has quickly won over the squad. Certainly he has started well, in the short time he has been at the club, so let us all hope we continue to progress under him.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 we bought mahrez for 400 grand A bit less than that. Absolute bargain.
Freesolo Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I can argue this Leicester side would beat O'Neill's side... and comfortably Different sides, Different Eras. You cannot compare the two
stulcfc Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I'm just so proud of my boys , I was crying for three days straight when my Nigel was sacked , I didn't sleep for a week as well I was in a dark place I had to go on anti depressants for it and nearly lost everything and gave up . Now I'm sitting here crying with happiness throwing my tablets in the bin I'm so overwhelmed with emotion I'm touching myself to a picture of Claudio . We're on the up and so am I ,time to have a bottle of red wine and a few bags of charley God bless foxestalk xxx

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 What a win. Superb victory and a massive boost heading into Spurs at home.
Clever Fox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 The game went pretty much as I thought. We wore WH down with our pace and quick passing. Shinji almost scored a sensational Goal and was quick enough to react quickest to the Ball. Albrighton looked solid again and was very unselfish in laying on the Ball for Mahrez's goal. Kasper made a few good saves but is still not at his best. I thought he was very naive when just before half time Huth passed the ball back to him., that he didn't hold on to it to run the clock down to half time. Instead he punted it back up field where it came straight back and Sako nearly got in. He was lucky to get away with the challenge. Great to see DD back to his best and King also. It seems the Players have bought into Claudio's calm nature and obvious talent as a Manager. He hasn't put a foot wrong yet either on or off the pitch. Exciting times ahead.
Frank to be Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Drinkwater has been like Cambiasso but with more pace and power so far this season. Is it too early to say that ranieri is getting better performances out of most of the squad than Pearson could have hoped for?
NewburyFox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Brilliant win and a great performance. They couldn't live with our pace and counter attacking in the first half and we scored two great goals, particularly the second one. The second half was much tougher and we had to show a different kind of quality. They put us under a lot of pressure after Payet scored but we managed to see that through and Ranieri's subs meant that they didn't trouble us too much, bar the Sakho chance. I would've liked to see us not sit so deep and keep the ball a bit more, but we wound the clock down brilliantly (for the most part, why Kante crossed it late on rather than go to the corner flag I have no idea) and Ranieri is already showing his tactical nouse.RDL was by far our worst player and I'm not sure how good Benalouane is (a really daft foul and yellow card) so that spot is cause for concern, but having Drinkwater back to his 13/14 best is like having a new signing. He was excellent today.

Is it too early to say that ranieri is getting better performances out of most of the squad than Pearson could have hoped for? I will be honest Ranieri has already shown that he has more tactical knowledge... not about getting the best out the players, drinkwater has been like a new signing ... probably would have done as well under Pearson after last season
Smudge Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Great result. Ragged second half. A better way of controlling the game when we are ahead, would be to have Kasper not lump the ball forward after he's taken possession of it. Frustrates the hell out of me. Taylor has to be one of the worst PL refs, so many poor decisions. As for the new boy's, looks like we made new signings with Drinkwater and King, Okasaki was immense and Kante looks very useful. The jury is out on the other two.
fleckneymike Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Just back. Great first half, would've have tinkered earlier and put Fuchs on and took Mahrez off as poor old RDL was getting no help of him as he stayed a little too narrow once West Ham started hugging the touch line. We also (consciously or otherwise) stopped pressing beyond the halfway line immediately after HT which saw the midfield really strectched until the introduction of Kante helped take some of the sting out of it.
The Guvnor Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Just got back from Newbury races, cleaned out the bookies and my team won, perfect Saturday!
tom27111 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Don't know if it's been mentioned, but all our fans who were there today should give themselves a pat on the back. The noise coming over on my stream was immense. Well done people
Ric Flair Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 What did Kasper do that people keep mentioning. Was it good or bad?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 What did Kasper do that people keep mentioning. Was it good or bad? Very rash, should have been booked if not off, come out despite having cover and pulled Sahko down... no need what so ever to have done that...
Frank to be Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 What did Kasper do that people keep mentioning. Was it good or bad? Pointless 'clothesline' on their player in our box. Blatant penalty and arguably a red.
Steven Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Good thing he is tied down on a long term deal at least we can dictate the fee. I would get vardy signed up long term as well. On 19 August 2014, Vardy extended his contract until the summer of 2018.
GingerrrFox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 We need a new right back. De Laet is a liability and Benny is a centre back that's capable as cover in that position. I wouldn't be surprised to see us follow up the interest in Zappacosta.
ScouseFox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 What did Kasper do that people keep mentioning. Was it good or bad? from the description it sounded very blackpool away a few years ago when he gave away that stupid pen in the last minute trying to punch through a player when we had the whole team back to deal with it. haven't seen it though but does sound like he got lucky. huge save towards the end too so we saw the good the bad and the very good looking of kasper today i think.
Ric Flair Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Kasper looked dodgy last Saturday as well, which is annoying as when he came back from injury last season he was sensational. Hopefully he sort it out as I could see Claudio fcuking him off
johnny the fox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 http://www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2015/August/15-August/Noble-We-got-caught-cold? Noble... "disappointed we got booed off at half time" ha ha ha...

Hopefully he sort it out as I could see Claudio fcuking him off Although I agree with you, He still pulls out big saves and thats why he has to stay as our No.1 the managment will surely see the same as what we do so im sure he will be told.
NewburyFox Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Booing the ref for the Kasper decision I thought.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us follow up the interest in Zappacosta. I agree with De Laet. I like the guy a lot but seems to struggle when someone runs at him. Benalouane sounds like a disaster at RB. Still cant believe we won. The whole team look incredible. I'm very confident in Ranieri and the staff.
