Why does everyone feel for him much? The guy who didn't want to join us has been injured. Let's stop being hippies and enjoy his bad luck lol

As has been mentioned before we get very few training ground injuries, and have an excellent medical and sports science team designed to look after players.

Maybe it wouldn't have happened here, maybe it would have happened regardless. Good luck to him, I respect him for sticking to his guns and not following the money, Bayer were cocks about it though. We made an offer and it was accepted by the club, we didn't make any wild statements in the press, or try to manipulate things. It was his club and agent pushing the Leicester deal and trying to get more money, so for BL officials to publicly make comments about us was disrespectful. They are now my least favourite German team and I hold them solely responsible for WW1, WW2, the Berlin Wall and Italia 90.

Don't mean to be a knob, but there's no way our sports science team would have let that happen

Sorry you're right. Shame it's not a broken leg!

I find that hilarious. As someone who suffered a compound fracture of my right tibia, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

It's been said but get off your high horses, he made his decision and went for the much more glamorous club rather than taking the money. He also refused to buckle to considerable pressure from parties standing to gain from our higher offer. If anything we should respect his decision. Learn to empathise with others for Christ's sake, he is not a Leicester City fan. Poor sod.

Poor sod! I really feel for him earning in a week what I earn in a year and getting the best medical care. I know who's position id rather be in.

He might not be a Leicester fan but everyone on here is, so what if they don't like the fact he chose somewhere else.

I was being sarcastic. Thought you started the thread to say it was good

that he's injured. Apologies if I've misunderstood

I feel sorry for Aranguiz, mixed with a little bit of Schadenfreude aimed at Leverkusen.

Obviously, it's a horrendous injury and I wish the player a speedy recovery.

However, given the transfer trials and tribulations this summer, this all has an element of heavy irony in it.

No, I started it just to make people aware. No offense taken.

Feel sorry for the Leverkusen fans but not their chairman.

However I am feeling kind.... We should offer them Hammond on loan

I don't find the fact he's injured funny, I find the fact there was so much fuss only for him to end up not playing for at least six months quite funny. Wish him a speedy recovery though. No hard feelings.

Exactly I never wish a player to be injured but you have to admit it's very Ironic which I found amusing

This is funny, its not like he wont get paid til he gets back playing again and I will go out on a limb and say he still "earns" more than you or I.

Do BL practice sports science or do they train on a concrete tennis court which they rent from the local council?

Terrible thing for him. I'm glad we didn't get him now, obviously... but the lad didn't deserve anyone laughing at him having a bad injury like this.
