You're NOT gonna like this, but I've had first hand experience of what this man really like is behind his constant sycophantic smile. Finished his career with a long run for Leicester then went flitting around the early American leagues and drained his talent through and down the leagues until he couldn't play anymore. Was then probably found walking around Filbert Street in circles ingratiating all until he found a little a little niche within the club. An egocentric narcissistic worm of a man who doesn't know what else to do but cling on to fame in any way he can. A pretentious and self important, self loving individual who I would possibly describe as football institutionalised. He doesn't really care about you at all.

A bit strong I know, but I won't say exactly what I know and under what circumstance.

Yours faithfully, Great Boos Up The Leicester!

Was there really any point posting that at all then?

Ignoring the previous users denigrating opinion...

Watched the interview. His outfit is hilarious. Shorts so tight you can see the veins in his knackers!

Joking aside, I have a lot of respect for the Birch, met him a few times and he's always made me smile. So down to earth and accessible. He raised an awful lot of money for charities close to my heart and for that alone he garners my upmost respect.

It's not easy putting yourself out there infront of everyone who inevitably will judge everything you do especially at his age. However he handles everything in good spirit and carries on doing good things and supporting good causes to do with the club and beyond.

Bravo Birch. Top man.

lol I'd ignore him, only joined a couple of months ago and obviously just a bitter old troll. He's done more charity work than he could possibly comprehend and I doubt his story is little more than what Gary from the local pub told him, as I do actually know him he's nothing of the sort.

Yes, out of respect for his charity work. Not the man himself because their are actually many better candidates to be club ambassador.

I am not a troll, just giving first hand knowledge of what I've experienced and as I said "you're NOT gonna like this". Sorry for discussing my experiences. I will say no more on this topic.

When I got my first Foxes Leisure jersey in around 1994, guess who was behind the counter at the club shop at Filbert Street!

One of the nicest men I've ever met, when I got taken down to the training ground when I was younger he always made time for me and my mate, used to go around calling himself captain birch and even had a ship captains cap hanging on him door! :'), the poster a few posts above doesn't know what he's on about as you guys probably already know.

Du'aine Ladejo?

I'll give you a clue, it wasn't Leon Crncic, Anderson Perry or the Dalai Lama.

Obvious then, it was Putin in a secret capacity and you are very very very lucky to be alive having recognised him.

What a load of old tosh, the guy is a great ambassador for the club, i should know as he made my daughters day, by meeting the players and making the whole experience very enjoyable for her.
