Steven Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 Happy Birthday. 70 today. I feel old as I remember watching him play at Filbert Street.
Rob1742 Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 I tell you what, he is a really really nice guy. And on top of that, he enjoys himself to the max. Happy birthday Birch, you old fart. Just hope I am out and about as much as he is at 70. Top man
zante Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 My first ever connection with Leicester City in the 70's was my great grans dog named 'Birch' .... My uncle took time out to explain to me why it was named Birch and who the great man was...... Happy birthday Alan.... In the Duchey of the Mountofsorrell the Birchenhaimer can be seen in ElBubginos buying Champagne and Pringles..... .... 'A desirable' and 'Dubreys' should be in the Oxford English.....
Finnaldo Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 He's my great uncle Saying that I haven't seen him for a while, can be quite hard to sort a day to meet him, he's usually pretty busy!
GaelicFox Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 So much time for people , a total gent and the lads over in Lutterworth who started the pressure group to bring him back/save him are owed a debt by all of us Happy birthday big fella
iancognito Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 As a teenager in the 90s I used to find him annoying and a lot of people would mutter "shut up Birch" when he was on one of his half time rants or just wittering on. These days I have a genuine appreciation for the guy, despite all the strides forward and changes at the club he's a huge link to the past and a real club legend. His charity and community work is incredible too. Happy birthday Birch (you old fart!)
Jam Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 Happy birthday Birch. Thanks for all your fundraising and highlighting of various important causes over the years.
Vacamion Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 He's been a great part of the club for many years. *waits for picure of AB kissing Tony Currie to be posted...

Jam Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 Very sweet jam Not sure if a piss taking pun or an honest endearment. Or both?! Nah, i'm just proud of his fundraising which is great on it's own but also as some of those charities are close to my heart. So thought I'd vocalise my respect for him. Top guy!
Collo73 Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 Fun d raising great but get rid..way past it now and getting cringe worthy
Fox92 Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 "Happy birthday" at half time made me laugh. Strange to hear yet I knew it was going to happen.
norwichfox Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 Happy Birthday Old Boy, enjoyed your performances for the City.
tom27111 Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 I remember his speech to whip up the crowd when Tony James scored the winner against Oxford to keep us up. I was only a kid, but he got us going. Met him a few times, know his son. Nice people. Happy birthday
FireFox Posted 22 August 2015 Posted 22 August 2015 Tut tut nobody remembered Pearson's birthday. I almost went a full day without seeing that name. Though in the 65th minute I was wondering why we weren't making a substitution and thought of him.
