What 3 goals..

The lack of people mentioning Claridge in the Play-offs has made me feel very old, as if your old enough to remember surely it would be everyones no.1?

1 - Claridge vs Palace in the Play-offs. I don't think anything will top that. Last seconds of ET, when everyone thought the game was finished, to seal promotion

2 - Cambiasso vs Man Utd. Vardy's was obviously epic, but Cambiasso's goal was in quick succession to Nugent's goal and came out of nowhere. Plus, it was EC's full debut.

3 - Knockaert vs Forest. Went into that day with literally no hope we'd do it. Then we did it. In stoppage time. At Forest.

Worst, Deeney. So cruel.

I should think the main reason for the lack of people saying Claridge is that the OP asked about goals in the past 10 years. Although not everyone is abiding by those rules it seems.

I'm fairly sure that's been edited since? Sure it said 10 years when it first popped up.

Highs:

Claridge v Palace in the Playoff final- seemed like the world stood still for a split second

Vardy v Burnley last season and Turd Moor- I was still celebrating their peno miss when ours went in

Vardy v Man U last season- watching him sprint through their defense and cooly slot it past De Gea was brilliant

There will be others but those are the three that spring to mind right now.

Lows:

Deeney in the Playoffs- still makes me feel sick when I watch the whole clip from the peno miss to him scoring (I know we came out of it better but it is still sickening)

Knockaert vs Watford : i was so happy for of him that day .

Me too, great moment. There's probably been more mental celebrations but few more satisfying.

If limited to the matches I was actually there....

Steve Thompson v Swindon at Wembley

Stan Collymore opener v Sunderland

Lloyd Dyer 4th v Bolton

All 4 Brighton goals or Swindon's penalty

The 4-1 after we'd just been promoted?!

I watched the final minutes of the West Brom game last season on a stream with the sound off (must have got fed up with the commentators). There were several of us in my lounge and of course we went mental when it went in, seems an odd way to have experienced it really. Usually you'll hear the crowd and commentator get louder and you react but we sort of weren't sure for a split second because the stream was so bad and we had to make absolutely sure the net rippled.

Much like the Man U game I always fancied Vardy to score. He's just got that aura when he runs at players like that.

Just live...

For:
1. Howard vs Leeds miles above anything else
2. Waghorn vs Bristol (I was only reminded of this when I saw someone else put it, so can't have been that memorable, but now I recall going mad at the time)
3. Could be any number of goals really.

Against:

1. Sheffield Wednesday the season we were relegated

2. No idea why but it just sticks in my head... Darren Ambrose last minute equaliser Boxing Day 2003 vs. Newcastle

Games on TV or radio etc. well for is Knocky vs. Forest to secure a play off place, Vardy vs. Man Utd, Vardy vs. WBA, Gradel free kick vs. MK Dons

Against: Deeney

Can't believe nobody has said King's goal at Cardiff to make it 3-2. I've seen us at wembley and back in the o'neil days but I genuinely don't think I've ever lost my shit more than that goal. Absolutely incredible being there.

Gallagher vs forest to make it 2-0 was quality too.

Then it's a tie between Esteban or Vardy vs Man U. Can't decide.

Your right, that Cardiff game, when we went 3.1 up was amazing, and when we lost on peno's for me it's the most depressed I have ever been over football, lasted for days, only thing come close to that pain was Wycombe at home

Games I was actually at:

3. Carl Cort vs Chelsea in the League Cup (2007 I think) - He put us 3-2 up in a game we eventually lost 4-3 and we were having a bit of a rotten time. Awful season but this was a gem in the shitepile.

2. Max Gradel vs MK Dons in the 96th Minute - I went mental at this and so did half the MK stands which were mostly Leicester fans as our end was full lol

1. Steve Howard vs Leeds - I watch this goal at least once a week. What a man that guy was, such a professional and that header was absolutely beast. Will never forget it and it's probably my favourite Leicester moment of all time.

Honourable mention goes to the De Vries winner vs Spurs but I didn't manage to get to that game.

Gunnlaugsson away at Villa is a great shout. In off the bar too.

1. Knocky at Forest. Ridiculous scenes. Felt like we stayed behind for hours after the game.

2. Kingy at Cardiff.

3. Could be loads here, but I'm gonna go with Carl Cort at Chelsea.

I can't remember who scored the goal but ......

We were 0-1 down at home to Leeds. Dennis Wise was their manager. When they went one nil up he turned to his directors who were by us and gave it large. Well over the top celebrations and gesturing to the crowd. We scored about two minutes later. Usually I am a reserved, sensible kind of fellow but in this instance, directly solely at Wise and the opposing directors I went absolutely chuffing mental!!!

Vardy vs United

Nugent vs Watford (Play off semi final first leg)

Schmeichel vs Yeovil

Worst was possibly the own goal against West Brom last season. Just felt like so much injustice as they didn't even have an attack in that game yet came away with three points.

Andy Peake against Liverpool.

Won goal of the season if I recall correctly.

Mark Defries against Spurs in the cup.

Mahrez on Saturday.

Against us, the Spurs goal at Wembley in the cup.

Or Lenny Glovers equalizer against Liverpool at Villa Park (F A semi in '73)....

I was there and I don't remember it.- there's a mind-block about that game. Only remember the 3rd goal by Keegan. Was it a fluke?

If only we had drawn Newcastle! I thought it was 1974?

Whatever- hope only leads to despair!

Tony James v Oxford

Equaliser v Swindon Play-Off Final

Marshall v A Madrid in Madrid

The downer

Swindon's 4th goal Play Off Final

3-0 down, get back to 3-3 and then that very dodgy penalty. I blame Hoddle.

Didn't Speedie do something similar?
