Mahrez

These last few days, All algerian tvs were celebrating the PFA POTY of Mahrez, and it was almost all in prime time :)

- His manager was asked a direct question about whether he will stay or leave leicester, his answer was quite blurry, stressing the law of the market and the mutual benefits to the player and the club; while insisting that himself would love to see Mahrez staying,; coz the challenge of playing the champions league with Leicester is a big deal for Riyad.

-His Mom told another tv station that she would love to see her son continue his adventure in England with Leicester : coz it's a unique club and Mahrez is like worshipping everything there

videos are in arabic and algerian dialect, and I translated almost everything in

He's so gone

His mothers opinion more likely to reflect what Riyad is thinking. We up his money and if he is prepared to continue to put in the effort (playing for us is tougher than at the other clubs likely to court him), I think he may stay.

I actually think that ngolo will look at what Riyad is doing (assuming we give him a huge pay rise aswell).

If the club show that they are buying good quality cover to allow them to take some PL weekends off, we could see them both stay. However, the club may have replacments identified and decide that the money we can get for them is worth the change.

I have a feeling, he might want to stay.

Yes for a player an opportunity like that doesn't come often (career of a Footballer is short) ...

.. But then he is so comfortable in Leicester, and the bound he formed with his teammates and club and the champions league and all make it so tempting and hard to break.

Am personally unable to predict at this point.

He said a big part of his success this season is from their child.

HIs wife looks beautiful, good old Riyad.

I agree. We have to up the ante. A year or so ago it wouldn't happen, but if we win the title, that makes us the best side in Britain. Why, having achieved so much, would we want to downgrade, and lose our most key players? It would not make sense. The club is much richer, and will make even more money from the Champions League.

On the downside, sometimes life makes little sense!

I honestly think he'll stay.

Reasons to stay:

We gave him his big break.

Very strong bond with team-mates and manager.

Guaranteed starting place 95% of the time.

Premier League title (soon).

Champions League guaranteed.

Massive fish in a little (growing!) pond.

Loved by the fans - probably loves the atmosphere here.

Married girl from the area (she sounds down to earth!).

Mum wants him to stay.

Reasons to leave:

More money.

More attractive destination.

He said in an interview a while back he wanted to see how far this team can go - well to do that he has to play Champions League football with us. Let's pay him what he is worth and keep him here. I really don't think there's much to pull him elsewhere next season. Imagine having the season of your life with a team you love playing with and then going to play for Man City with a load of cunty individuals who there's no love between? At what point does money not matter so much and you decide to stick with something because you enjoy being a part of it?

I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Réally awesome details revealed by Mahrez original 'scout'... And awesome footage of him in his former club. (Same same Riyad)

Some of his words:

"He had, and he still have huge technical qualities as well as athletic qualities, especially endurance, because he is a player fast and legit and at the same time who runs a lot so he had real qualities beside his technical aspect, but his best quality is his love for football. He is an appreciative kid, a kid who attract well, someone who keeps his head on his shoulder, someone who like to live, who is happy, who is refreshing, sociable and a team player. Never creates problems because he is a good kid and yet again a kid who adore football and once he enters the green rectangle he start living. It's a pride to see a someone with such spirit succeed, he is a kid who bring out the beautiful things in football, he plays this sport simply because he loves it."
