Lawrence playing up top, probably as a support striker instead of an out and out striker.

aren't we looking for one of those in jan?

also anyone know what channel the wales game's on?

No - Sussex ip-address. If you are UK it should work.. Odd.

Shame.  I've since found a decent enough kodi stream of the Dutch coverage, though I can't seem to find any working full HD ones today.

(If anyone else is struggling go to Sp*rtsDevil, then click on LiveF**tballVide*.c*m, then on the Wales match, and finally on the 450kbps link 2nd from bottom - it's the only Dutch one in there and also the only working one.)

Shows the difference in both friendlys

Wales attacking well and trying to play some decent football.

England dull, predictable and slow football

Think England were actually alright tonight, and looked decent on the counter. Just a mistake from Sterling and an obvious moment of brilliance won them the game (excluding Cazorlas goal)

Thought Delph did well tonight, we would've been far better equipped for this with Vardy not Kane. Barkley and Sterling can tend to overplay, but I don't think we should be disheartened by tonight's performance.

Switzerland lost their friendly away at Slovakia on Friday evening - with Gökhan Inler in the starting XI.

The guests were 3-0 down after 55 minutes, then pulled two back. Inler got subbed after 74 minutes, with the score already settled by then.

andy king and tom lawrence

My first post since joining. Tom Lawrence was really excellent for Wales last night. Need to ensure he is not somehow lured away permanently in January. Still young and developing nicely at Blackburn on loan it seems.

I think he'll be sold or go out on loan in January.. He's not the player everyone thought he was.

One thing is clear - you don't rate him one bit.

I hope so and it would be best for all concerned.

It's pointless spending good money on players in their 30's only for them to sit on the bench. He had plenty of good options other than us so hopefully they're still interested and we can offload him in January. King looks ahead of him, James is back in light training and we've been linked with other CM's.

In truth Danny Drinkwater has turned into the player we hoped Inler would be. Hopefully a few interested parties would have seen Inler's performance against England a couple of months a go and realise there is still a player in there.
