AKCJ Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 Red gave them a telling off, therefore he acknowledged the incident and he can't be retrospectively banned Not quite. The referee could have said to them "Something has clearly gone on here but i've not seen it. I've got my eye on you both now and any more pissing about will result in cards". Depends what he's put in his post match report (which should be made public by the way).
Number 6 Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 Huth seems to be making some very silly decisions this season. Wilson incident, barging Fletcher, and now this. All could have been avoided had a calm head been kept.
MPH Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 Glad I'm not the only one thinking this! We look like an accident waiting to happen in 442 with that personel in place. Praying we go back to 3-5-2 soon Suppose we accidently top then eh?
linemakers Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 Yep lets go 3-5-2 cause 4-4-2 is not working !
Benji Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 Didn't see a replay but pretty sure Huth's reaction is because Mitrovic booted him before the ball went forward and then got in his face. Eye for an eye and all that.

Eye for an eye and all that. I don't think that's a defence! I assume tomorrow is the day when the FA would announce a retrospective charge if they are going to bring one. would be a three game ban too. perfect timing............ Benny v Costa (assuming he doesn't get sent off against Swansea )
NewEnglandFox Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 (Newcastle loses possesion) Mitrovich punched/forearmed/elbowed Huth in the arm/side. (5 seconds later) Chest bump. Huth pushed Mitrovich in the throat. Mitvovich flopped and grabbed his face.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 23 November 2015 Posted 23 November 2015 Mitrovic acting like a tough guy and flopping as soon as he gets touched. Huth will be fine.
ozleicester Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Im pretty sure Huth was just showing the correct tightness to wear a collar and tie. I understand he has been very angry lately about people with loosely tied ties and i for one agree with him!

Lambert09 Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 Suppose we accidently top then eh? Clearly says with that personnel in place. I stand by that statement. With De laet and Schlupp as full backs we would be shipping goals for fun

This is how you do it properly!! '..
MC Prussian Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 From the TV replays, it appears as if Mitrovic forgot to turn off the lights at home prior to the match - hence the gesture of despair whilst tumbling down to the ground after the slight push by Huth. Huth reminds me of Chuck Norris in many ways: Robert Huth never pushes you on the pitch - the ground pulls you down automatically.
NewEnglandFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Huth could have killed Costa! https://streamable.com/nk70
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Was what people in the game call a clever yellow last night. Shame he misses a game but was always going to pick up that booking at some point over Christmas and better to save a potential goal with the yellow than take a silly one, also potentially the next game is the 'easiest' of the 3 coming up, if you can call it that.
Guest Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Huth could have killed Costa! https://streamable.com/nk70 I noticed he thought twice about getting in his face once he'd clocked it was Huth

It would have been a tough ask to stay out of the book last night and against the Merseyside teams to save it for Man City and then be suspended for Bournemouth. Probably best to go into the game last night knowing he could make it count. Not a bad professional foul to commit and a big plus to use it up against Costa.
