Guest Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Is Chris Wood dead? https://youtu.be/U4rMJL0urUQ He's in Leeds. Close enough
jayfox26 Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 It might just be me, but had the ref even blown the whistle when Huth went to kick the ball at Wilson? If he hadn't blown the whistle for the foul then the ball was still in play which means Huth had every right to kick the ball in his face if he wanted haha
Jace Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 I could have killed the ref for disallowing our first goal
Foxhateram Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 I think that makes Waghorn a serial killer. Haha poor waggy is coming put of this real bad.
shade Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 "Could have!" If everyone was governed by "could have" no-one would play any sport more dramatic than chess and we wouldn't drive to work, much less cycle along those silly tracks in the face of oncoming traffic. I'm not even sure Huth kicked the ball especially hard. He seemed to be holding back even as his frustration boiled over. I sit in the Leicester camp saying "so what?" Huth wasn't sent off. Presumably because the referee, standing right by the incident, didn't see fit to make a drama out of a nothing moment of temporary frustration. As for Vardy he seems well able to look after himself. lots of people are severely allergic to pawns.
Anorak Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 According to somebody on the Bournemouth forum this thread makes us look 'clueless'??
Webbo Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 According to somebody on the Bournemouth forum this thread makes us look 'clueless'?? Is that any different to what we say about every other set of fans after reading their forum?
purpleronnie Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 According to somebody on the Bournemouth forum this thread makes us look 'clueless'?? Is it really a surprise? If a bournemouth player did the same they'll be plenty on here agreeing with what the ex ref said. Fans will almost always blindly defend their players/club.
Izzy Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 I've played football myself and had the full force of a well struck ball hit me in the face and never even took a second to recover. I am a big tough bastard though. You've got a face only a mother could love mate
Brooksy Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 "If it happened in the street you'd be arrested" hahahahahahahaa
VLC86 Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Is that any different to what we say about every other set of fans after reading their forum? Yes, we are by far the superior breed.
Webbo Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Yes, we are by far the superior breed. Only some of us.

No doubt but ridiculous all the same......"could have killed him" is reaching for the extreme and those Bournemouth fans thinking we are clueless can wipe their tears up on the Mirror Rag
Legend_in_blue Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Ok, if this was us last season and one of our players had had a brush with a football as it was kicked out of play, would the papers be making a big deal out of it? Probably not. This is Bournemouth, it makes a good story and it's more reason to have another pop at us, which people seem to like to do (apart from Merson).
shailen Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Although it's as exaggerated in the article, it was an unnecessary act of aggression and if it had been done to any player in our team we would all be fuming. The fact that he had a yellow card may save him because I believe retrospective action cannot be taken in that case. But then again it's that aggression which makes Huth such a formidable opponent but he definitely stepped over he line, even though the "he could have been killed" is over the top. Doing it within the laws of the game would be better for Huth, like how Diego Costa does it.
ScouseFox Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 aside from this clearly being a joke, anyone else concerned that huth has been half doggo for pretty much the whole season? seemed to be a lot better in the 3 last year than he has been in the 2. reckon this is why pearson went to the 3 at the back, as soon as huth was fit?

Still been solid though albeit not as colossal as he was last year, our defence is bound to look a bit more shaky with a 4 instead of a 5. Plus, were quite an attack minded side so defence is bound to be more vulnerable.
Dan Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 Is that any different to what we say about every other set of fans after reading their forum? That generally does apply when they're spouting Halsey-like shite mind.

Definitely not been as convinced by him as I was last season. Don't think a back four suits anyone though. It's no surprise we're yet to keep a clean sheet. I actually think Morgan's been our best defender so far.
norwichfox Posted 3 September 2015 Posted 3 September 2015 just had phone call, asking me "have you had a football kicked in your face in the last 3 years? If you have you may be missing thousands in compensation..contact Fleecem and Scarper Solicitors specialising in listening to utter bollox uttered by referees"

We really need to go back to 3-5-2 I feel. We'll get the best out of Huth like you say also feel It'll be better seeing Schlupp more free to go forward as he's not really a LB is he? Albrighton was superb in the WB role whereas he's been a bit patchy since the opening day and cant help him being moved to LW. Mahrez in a roaming role behind striker(s). A kind of 3-4-1-2 if being aggressive or maybe 3-5-1-1 if perhaps a tricky away.
Guest Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Good sign though if we are unbeaten, near the top of the league and we can still pick faults. Big progress.
Lambert09 Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Glad I'm not the only one thinking this! We look like an accident waiting to happen in 442 with that personel in place. Praying we go back to 3-5-2 soon
Rhysm Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 "If it happened in the street you'd be arrested" hahahahahahahaa Yeah I can see that. Police officers seem to have a hard enough job trying to keep track of gun crime without footballs being added to the list of "weapons"
