Like I said in the other thread I can't believe we have learned nothing from last season. We were called down and out by everyone including 90% of users here in April, and we ended up staying up with a game to spare. Anything could happen and it helps if we all back the club.

How people can say Ranieri has 'ruined our club', etc in our fifth ****ing game of the new season is hilarious. The FIFTH game.

Niall Quinn could not be more positive or praising of our club in his post-match summary. Generally find he gives a very honest appraisal of what he sees or believes to be happening. But like him even more after today.

At 0-2 I thought we were done. Glad to be wrong.

We are inevitably going to lose some games this season.

It will be interesting how our collective psyche will cope.

Do people actually care what pundits say about us?

Worth bearing in mind that this time last year we were looking good and had just produced the mother of all comebacks vs. United before going on to win one game in the next 6 months!

Plenty to do yet.

That cant on the mirror ought to get sacked..

At the moment we are proving the pundits wrong. But look how well the first 5 games went for us last season and then the wheels come off. Maybe we should wait before we get over confidant

I watched it on NBCSN, they've got bloody Andy Townsend as co-commentator.

We were shocking for over an hour, the fact he's an ex Villa captain didn't help, but he gave us credit in the end.

Robbie Mustoe and some yank were in the studio. They both predicted us to win before the game, then raved about us at full time.

It's quite refreshing to see the American coverage. Much less biased than this country. Although the interviews and stuff are the same.

Put Talksport on when I got in the car. Ray Stubbs had a couple of members of the nations press on, still refusing to believe we won't struggle.

Members summed them up, switched over to 5 live.

Talksport is literally cancer

I love how the majority of this forum were not for Ranieri's appointment, now they seem to be revelling in the good time.

How pathetic.

I know lol but if you want to read something even more pathetic, try the match thread whenever we haven't been winning this season. The amount of abuse Ranieri has got on here for the crime of not leading the team to resounding victories secured in the opening minutes of every game, that is pathetic.

Thank god im not around to read these match threads because the posting in there is pitiful.

Ranieri's changes made a direct impact on the game today and to dig deep from 2 down is so good to see.

And anyone thinking weve had an "easier" start than last season seems to forget failing to beat practically all these sides anyway.

Im loving every moment of riding high.
