davieG Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Hope he was taken off to be rested for Wednesday?... Didn't look himself in that first half at all!!!!! I thought he was playing too far forward to influence the game.
st albans fox Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 I expect he was told to 'look after himself' for Wednesday Tough for someone like him who is an 'all or nothing type' Expect a different Ngolo on Wednesday evening
weller54 Posted 10 January 2016 Posted 10 January 2016 Hopefully Eriksen will feel the effects of playing today on Wednesday.. We'll have Drinky and Kante biting at the bit!
jessejk Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Had to scroll through 5 pages of forums to get to this topic.... Unbelievable Can we please start calling him 'King Kante' because he owned that pitch today...
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Phenomenal display. One of the contenders for MOTM today. Him and Drinkwater in the middle just work perfectly, complement each other really well. He does so much key work defensively and on the attacks, just simply immense.
funkyrobot Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 He was motm for me. I've never seen such a good tackler/interceptor. He reads the game so well, tackles fairly, stays on his feet, doesn't get involved with the ref or opposition. When he wins the ball, he's positive, skilful and dangerous. Can't believe he went under the radar of teams like the Arse and man Utd. He would walk into mufc's midfield at the moment. Thankfully he's with us!!
UPinCarolina Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 walk in to any team in the world? umm...none. I would argue Mahrez could get a bench spot on any team in the world.
Len Finsbury Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I'd be hard pushed to decide on Kante or Drinkwater for MOM. Both absolutely superb.
body102 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 The blokes all over the pitch , I commented on a good tackle he made in the middle of the park today , a few seconds later he was on the left side getting another tackle in . The lads workrate is phenominal ,
Blubberblue Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Evening All Great win and a great performance from all the boys but what a man N'Golo is. I put this in chants and songs a while ago but it doesn't seem to get looked at very often would love to hear thisthink it would sound great and typifies him Evening All First time poster but follower for a long time please be gentle. Had the following going round in my head for a while and think it is very apt Now he will run 500 miles And he will run 500 more Just to be the man to run a 1,000 miles So that Leicester City win and score N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante Da Da Lat Da Da Da Lat Da Da Da Lat Da Da Da Lat Da etc N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante N'Golo Kante Da Da Lat Da Da Da Lat Da Da Da Lat Da Da Da Lat Da etc Sure you will know the tune! COYB
LinekersApples Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Kante was awesome today. MOTM for me. Won everything (including a few headers). Ball stuck to him when he emerged from difficult situations and he never gave it away. Once again, he was the catalyst for everything that was good. .
Karljohn Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Has to be THE signing of the season in the premier league.
Thracian Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Can't think of a single Premiership game when he was less than good and can think of lots when he was excellent or even outstanding. What a player to have in your team. Enthusiasm? He just seems to love playing football. Don't think I've ever written an adverse comment about him - not even a minor one - which may be a first! I loved a comment by Drinkwater when, having roundly praised the input of Ranieri he said the Leicester players would "run their socks off for any manager". In other words they were complete professionals, prepared to earn their money whatever. No wonder Ranieri said Leicester were among the best team he's ever coached.
Max Power Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 He's the best midfielder in the country, Absolute star.
ARM1968 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I think he has been the most important player this season. Many will say Vardy for his goals, Mahrez for his goals and assists, but I think Kante has been without doubt the difference. If Amartey is 70% of what Kante is he'll be a gem.
Clever Fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 All I can say is thank you, thank you Steve Walsh for insisting that we sign him. He's been sensational for someone so small. The amount of times he's in there competing with players who are much bigger and stronger and yet he comes away with the Ball so many times. If he were English the press would be full of him. Keep it up son.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I volunteer for my wife to have his children, he is so darn good
Socks Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I volunteer for my wife to have his children, he is so darn good This, after todays performance my wife said she would throat him off at the drop of a hat. She also likes Drinky and Wasyl.
foxfanazer Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 This guy is going to have a fantastic career with or without us. Superb!
J.Lisemore Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I agree with the others, he's the best centre midfielder in the League.
luke the fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Does anyone have his stats for today's game, absolutely amazing today (like always). Best midfielder in the league!! The amount of interceptions and tackles was immense
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 This guy, well he is easily up there with any world class midfielder... Today he completely controlled midfield, missed him in the replay against Spurs. If Amartey is half as good we have a lot of depth
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 One of the signings of the season I would say. We're very lucky to have him, he's class.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I agree with the others, he's the best centre midfielder in the League. The new Mekelele ... that is for sure
