les-tah Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Apperently Mali are trying to convince Kante.. Could be very bad news for us as Africa cup of nations is a night mare every 2 years in january and Feb Hope he considers himself French. https://twitter.com/mattspiro/status/676520354202939393 (PS this is apparently the expert french football man and raved about him in the summer according to Jason Bourne)
goose2010 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Covered more distance than anyone else last night 12.2 KM - not surprising the lad ran the whole length of the pitch in about the 92nd minute and then still go back. Love him I would be more concerned if he got injured.

Dan Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 No longer the unsung hero. People are twigging him. Was only a matter of time. But he's still ours. What an unbelievable signing. The signing of the summer in England for sure.

Guest Col city fan Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Again..Amazing last night. He's the Neil Lennon of our modern era. Love that type of player.
MPH Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 What amazes me is that he goes in for 50/50s challenges he can't or shouldn't win and he comes out battling. So many players would go down holding their shins or dodge the challenge but he's 100% committed to winning everything that comes near him. Not trying to be a boblet, but how can it it be a 50-50 ball if he can't or shouldn't win it? Wouldn't that be more like a 70-30 or 60-40?
Swarles Barkley Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Not trying to be a boblet, but how can it it be a 50-50 ball if he can't or shouldn't win it? Wouldn't that be more like a 70-30 or 60-40? Yeah I thought that
Jordan Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Kanté absolutely bossed it yesterday. There's no way he "only" had two interceptions. WhoScored short-changed him on some of their stats, and he still got a 7.9 rating.
Foxymcoxy Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 If he wasn't one of the best readers of a football game I have ever seen, he could probably have a decent career as a marathon runner.
weller54 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Deceptively quick as well... One thing Lennon wasn't!!
Babylon Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Deceptively quick as well... One thing Lennon wasn't!! To be honest I'm not sure it's even deceptive.... he's just rapid.
M0901 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Good with the ball, good without the ball, quick, tenacious, best tackler in the league, most interceptions in the league What's not to love?
ScouseFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 To be honest I'm not sure it's even deceptive.... he's just rapid. speed of thought too. he's quick running with the ball over a distance but i've never seen anyone get five yards to get a toe on a ball as quick as he does ,ever.
AKCJ Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 speed of thought too. he's quick running with the ball over a distance but i've never seen anyone get five yards to get a toe on a ball as quick as he does ,ever. That's what does it for me. Someone only needs to take one dodgy touch while dribbling and they've lost it because Kante has legged it from 80 metres away to nick the ball in time. Makes me laugh every time.
Finnaldo Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 To be honest I'm not sure it's even deceptive.... he's just rapid. Deceptive in the way that by the time you look down at where the ball was at your feet he's already at the other end of the pitch and dinking one in to Mahrez.
Countryfox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Theres got to be some terrier blood in there somewhere ...... It just aint natural how he chases around the pitch !
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 This man has made a huge difference to this side. His pace and energy shields the back four who are now looking far less 'shaky' and susceptible to error (no surprise there) and he links up forward play with pace. He's been a revelation. Even in a 4-4-2
ARM1968 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 As I said in a previous thread I really think he IS the difference this year. The guy is incredible, and you could easily house him under the stairs.
desertfox2 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 On current form we have 4 of the best players in the league IMO Kante fuchs + RM & Vardy. I Kante think of anyone better than him at what he does anywhere.

What he offers us is invaluable though.
ARM1968 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Fuchs is more than just a great left back. You can see his influence on the team. We've got great leaders out there and that helps. Morgan has been immense but Fuchs backs that up immensely.
