Larry_LCFC Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Turned down a new contract with us apparently. I'll be ****ed off if he goes to another PL club. Why would you?
Fox92 Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Turned down a new contract with us apparently. I'll be ****ed off if he goes to another PL club. Why would you? So will I. I could accept a big European side - Juventus for example - but I'll be gutted to lose him to another PL side.
Wymsey Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 If he does go to Arsenal, I really hope fans don't boo him. Probably, even with Vardy and Mahrez in the side, we'd probably wouldn't be in the position where we are without him. Controversial to suggest, I know, but he's very pivotal forward and backwards on the pitch
Munshi Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Backwards step going back to the French league? I know they are getting closer to winning the champions league each year but still PSG piss the French league every year, would be a bit boring
AyewJoking Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 he rejected our contract offer because it included a complimentary lamborghini and kante doesnt want to lose his mini cooper.
EnglishOxide Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Backwards step going back to the French league? I know they are getting closer to winning the champions league each year but still PSG piss the French league every year, would be a bit boring Frenchman in not being up for a fight shocker.

AKCJ Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Honestly think i'd put Arsenal as one of the favourites if they sign Kante and a competent striker.
Zaid Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Contract-wise, going to PSG is never a "backwards step." .
Vlad the Fox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 If he goes arsenal he'll be broken by October, then again in January and finally February will see him out for the next 10 months.
The Railway Man Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 I think we all know deep down he is going, he clearly saw us as a stepping stone last summer and now he has the chance of that big move he craves. If he goes to Arsenal I hope he does well, despite our league win we all know it isnt a sideways step, Arsenal have far more chance of winning the league than we do next season. I still trust our scouts to find a decent replacement.
Munshi Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Contract-wise, going to PSG is never a "backwards step." Obviously yeah, what I mean is he strikes me as the type who would rather play in a more competitive league week in week out instead of an extra 15 grand a week.
Munshi Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Just imagine Kante at the king power next season in an Arsenal shirt taking the ball off Drinkwater and running 30 yards with it to set up a goal

Anyone who's ever come face to face with a very excitable and happy to see you Great Dane will know that fear.

Munshi Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 An Arsenal player run 30 yards with the ball? When did you last watch them? 1997? Well we've seen Kante doing it before.

PSG just being in the conversation means a huge payday, let alone actually being in the negotiations.

He wasn't wanted by any BIG clubs last season, we take the chance, help him to get into the euros and become well known and he isn't even seeing out his contract with us. I'd boo him. Great as he has been, I'd boo him for the traitorous move to a side we're competing with.

The Railway Man Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Well we've seen Kante doing it before. We have, but the way we set up and fight I'd be upset if that happened to us, Drinkwater is also often superb at breaking up play. I get the same feeling--but if it's gotten to this point, we've gotta be talking about stupid amounts of money. PSG just being in the conversation means a huge payday, let alone actually being in the negotiations. If PSG are in you are talking £200,000 a week, we wouldn't be competing with them on prestige, location, wages or anything
Munshi Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Him moving to Arsenal would ultimately mean he doesn't really give a shit about us tbf
