Donut Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 You really are a boring bastard ain't ya? . Youd be totally wrong.
st albans fox Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 He's on Gardening Leave. Don't think you can terminate a contract and place the employee on Gardening leave. If he had left by mutual consent then yes, it's feasible. We will have paid off his contract and a bit more on the basis of hime signing a confidentiality agreement. As for putting stuff into that agreement that he couldn't come back for shakey or walshie, again, that's tough when you're terminating a contract and I doubt NP would be prepared to negotiate other people's future as part of his own dealings on leaving his post. if he does end up at SOL, will be real interesting to see his back room staff being sorted out. Also, anyone out of favour here come January could be the subject of an approach.

Wymsey Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 He's still on our books, apparently so that he can keep his mouth shut over what happened towards the end of his time here.
Donut Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Gardening leave? Hes picking the team, taking the training, doing the team talks and signing the players. How else can you explain one defeat all season?
Donut Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Not sure if your response is serious or not? Of course its not
Chrysalis Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 What? How is he still an employee? He got sacked never heard of gardening leave? apparently irvine at wba has only just been released.
jimmeh Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 It's funny how Paolo benetti (assistant coach) and Andrea azzalin (First Team Sports Scientist & Conditioning Coach) never get a mention. All down to Shakespeare and Walsh as per.
Donut Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 It's funny how Paolo benetti (assistant coach) and Andrea azzalin (First Team Sports Scientist & Conditioning Coach) never get a mention. All down to Shakespeare and Walsh as per. Would you expect anything else?
jimmeh Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Would you expect anything else? It's almost as if they don't exist. Benetti is the assistant manager alongside Shakespeare. I've not heard him mentioned once on here
Donut Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 It's almost as if they don't exist. Benetti is the assistant manager alongside Shakespeare. I've not heard him mentioned once on here And you never will either.
Donut Posted 4 October 2015 Posted 4 October 2015 Why? Because that would be giving credit to other people. People not associated with the messiah. You will probably hear everything they are doing wrong though the moment one of the signings they make doesnt instantly settle or a substitution doesnt work.
ozleicester Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 the ones I work with do not think for one minute he'll leave Burnley Cant blame him... why would anyone go to Burnley?
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 Nigel Pearson was only our manager when we didn't win matches. The many victories we had were purely down to the backroom staff and players. The successful players we bought were all down to Steve Walsh senior. The failed players were Nigel's fault. I thought everyone knew this, no????
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 Gardening leave? Hes picking the team, taking the training, doing the team talks and signing the players. How else can you explain one defeat all season? No chance he is involved, remember we only ever won games at the end of last season because Cambiasso was running the club.
KP Fox Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 There's a chance that Brendan Rogers might go there
jimmeh Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 There's a chance that Brendan Rogers might go there He recently signed a long term contract. He will be getting all that money now. He won't have the hunger to get a new job yet. It will be next season
Fox92 Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 It's almost as if they don't exist. Benetti is the assistant manager alongside Shakespeare. I've not heard him mentioned once on here Sing his name at the next match then.
Dickov22 Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 It's funny how Paolo benetti (assistant coach) and Andrea azzalin (First Team Sports Scientist & Conditioning Coach) never get a mention. All down to Shakespeare and Walsh as per. It probably is considering neither of those can even speak English. House of cards will come tumbling down once NP gets a job and Shakey and Walsh follow.

Itsthejoeker Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 Shakespeare and Walsh may have followed Pearson around previously, they have never left an establishing premier league team to join him.
jimmeh Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 It probably is considering neither of those can even speak English. House of cards will come tumbling down once NP gets a job and Shakey and Walsh follow. Idiot. Ranieri is a hands on coach. You see him in all the training ground pics. Give the man some credit. Also. When did speaking English matter. Can David moyes speak fluent Spanish?
lgfualol Posted 5 October 2015 Posted 5 October 2015 It probably is considering neither of those can even speak English. House of cards will come tumbling down once NP gets a job and Shakey and Walsh follow. Or we'll carry on fine under Ranieri and his staff.
