lcfcsnow Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Night games are shit anyway, especially during winter. But Monday? Poor. What's wrong with night games? We hardly get any since promotion unless we or the opposition has a cup run resulting in a rearranged fixture. I enjoy them, although not as much since the HD floodlights were setup.
TOMBlcfc Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Don't mind man city moving but the chelsea one is a right piss take
ousefox Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 It's now impossible for me to get to the City game which is a frustrating. The trains back to Sheffield are certainly not designed for 8pm games either. 23.53 is the only one I can get if I don't leave early.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Man City is crap. Was originally the bank holiday Monday meaning no work so no rush. Now it's the Tuesday it's a pain.

johnny the fox Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 its only because we are the only team worth watching.

The trains back to Sheffield are certainly not designed for 8pm games either. 23.53 is the only one I can get if I don't leave early. Same for those coming from London. It is just about doable for a 7.45pm kick off, but impossible for an 8.00pm since the last train to London leaves before 10pm. Chelsea fans will not be pleased either I'm sure.
Hollism Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Chelsea was originally the day after my 21st, now I'll miss the second half as I'll have to shoot to work. Really p!ssed off with that. It was always gonna be moved but why Monday night!? Also saw that Everton vs Palace has been moved to a Monday night. Can't imagine that Palace fans are anything other than fuming as well.
kingcarr21 Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Doesnt affect me in the slightest. So not bothered when its on.
Bayfox Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 We have got Chelsea on Monday December 14th live on Sky. Some called it.

adam Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Sick of this shit now .Can't do Mondays due to work .Three home games against the big boys all ruined because of sky .
filbertstreet Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 so weird how everyone's going to have the flu that day
ramboacdc Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 have the bt sport games been confirmed yet? they usually get a good glut of games around christmas. edit: im an idiot! thought man city was a sky game.
RowlattsFox Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 From a positive point of view the Man City game gives us extra 24 hours after the Liverpool game boxing day. Bit shit for those fans affected though.
whoareyaaa Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Nothing wrong with a few night games against the bigger teams, chance for an upset I'd rather us play Monday night than Sunday 1pm.

I enjoy them, although not as much since the HD floodlights were setup. The atmosphere suffers a lot and it might be just me but we always seem to play worse at night.

Can't imagine that Palace fans are anything other than fuming as well. tbf london is pretty much the easiest place to get to from Liverpool on a train. get the big virgin one and it only takes ten minutes longer to get to London than it does to get to Birmingham, and they run earlier/later too. crazy I know. had sorta hoped chelsea at home would be one id book off work to get to actually use my season ticket but not now.
BirminghamFox Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 bloody typical...I'm working in Scotland on Monday 14th and I'd already booked a hotel for the Man City game which is now wasted! Tossers
Dan Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Two freezing games then. Man City I'm not too annoyed about. Chelsea's a pain though. Might try and get away that weekend now though.
billyn88 Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 I hate to be that guy but it's always a huge risk booking specific transport and hotels before TV weighs in. Felt so stupid years ago when I booked cheap advance train tickets to go to a game, not noticing one of the teams was in Europa league and it got moved...
