VLC86 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 How many invalids support us? It's never an excuse for the clubs who have 100% standing ends. Out of 3,000 I doubt there's any more than about 3 who physically can't stand for 45 minutes at a time. That makes you sound like a bit of a dick. I didn't say invalids, I said people who can't stand for 90 minutes. Iv got a dodgy knee which gives me problems if I stand still for a reasonable amount of time, does that make me an invalid? (I still stand) How about kids, are they invalids? If you don't want to sit at the front, don't sit at the front. ****ing hell let's call Steven Hawkins into this debate. On seconds thoughts probably not wise as I'm sure he would be against standing.
Dynamogoon Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 There are plenty of people who book tickets near the front because they can't stand for 90 mins. It's obvious. Why was this thread even started?
VLC86 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Odd how we have a load of cripples supporting us yet clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Newcastle and Leeds have zero. Sorry, I just don't believe that. Ok, now I know you are just a complete moron. Wow.

I wasn't going to post anything, but I'm one of those "invalids" or "cripples" you so lovingly refer to. For the record there were about twenty of "us" yesterday unable to stand. All the clubs in the Premier League have large numbers of disabled supporters, many of whom can't get a ticket due to lack of facilities. Manchester United have in excess of 1,300 members in their disabled supporters club and we have around 400, slightly more than your guess of 3. I get to as many away games as I possibly can, although due to ticket availability it's not always possible, but I'll let you know the next one I go to so you can come and say hello.
SystonFox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Fvcking hell Kitchandro calling people invalids and cripples. Wow, just wow. Someone else saying if they have to sit they leave the stadium And babylad92 just generally being a ****. What the fvcks gone on in the world today?
C-man Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Couldn't give a shit whether people stand or not as long as they get behind the team whatever the score. There were plenty more people standing yesterday making less noise than people sitting. First half was embarrassingly bad. Our away ends have gone downhill imo. Or maybe it's just because home games are so much better these days.

Or maybe it's just because home games are so much better these days. Partly home games. Being decent. Partly wankers lighting smoke bombs. Lobbing beer and filming it on concourses. Then having no idea in the stand.
Leicester_lad_92 Posted 18 October 2015 Author Posted 18 October 2015 The worst is if you have someone sitting behind you but everyone behind them is standing as you're standing and they say "sit down" and you say "how about we swap seats then I can stand and you can sit" and they say "no I paid for this seat so I am staying here" Now that is annoying. This !! This is what I'm talking about ! People that tell u you have to sit or you "should have got a ticket higher with 'them lot' " It's this that annoys me
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Be part of the priority scheme and you tick which box you want to sit for the whole away season Obviously you haven't been to many away games to only just realised people sit near the front Out of the last 4 seasons where I have been religiously going home and away I've had to sit twice Put up with it or don't go to away games, don't take it out on the guys and girls at the front who can't stand or prefer to sit and watch the game instead. Get out your own bubble, not everyone has to do the same thing

AndWhat? Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I'm with Soup Nazi, if my only option at the game was to sit then I would rather leave and watch Soccer Saturday down the pub.
Voll Blau Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Sitting in the kind of seats they have in football stadia for prolonged periods of time is really, genuinely uncomfortable for me.
SystonFox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I'm with Soup Nazi, if my only option at the game was to sit then I would rather leave and watch Soccer Saturday down the pub. You're a willy puller too then?

Because earlier in the thread it was anybody who sat down regardless of their situation I'm with Soup Nazi, if my only option at the game was to sit then I would rather leave and watch Soccer Saturday down the pub. Can't be that committed a fan then
Gforce19 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Let's round up all "cripples" and people with kids as well as anyone incapable of standing for more than 45 minutes put them in a field and shoot them, problem solved , then have a new priority scheme for away ticket allocation, (1) Able to stand , jump , do the Poznan , sing , scream and do the willy puller sign for 90 minutes without and sign of fatigue, (2) aged 15-25 (3) Not live in Coalville , (4) never associate with anyone not able to fit the above criteria . Some of you need to realise being a football fan is for everyone not just you and your kindergarten play mates , one day you might be unable to stand for the whole duration of a match for whatever reason , are you going to not go to a game then???
Livid Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 This hasn't all been kicked off by a couple of comments I saw on Twitter during MOTD last night from fans of other clubs having a go at us because we weren't all standing has it? What does it matter? We're Leicester City we do what we want!
Leicester_lad_92 Posted 18 October 2015 Author Posted 18 October 2015 Be part of the priority scheme and you tick which box you want to sit for the whole away season Obviously you haven't been to many away games to only just realised people sit near the front Out of the last 4 seasons where I have been religiously going home and away I've had to sit twice Put up with it or don't go to away games, don't take it out on the guys and girls at the front who can't stand or prefer to sit and watch the game instead. Get out your own bubble, not everyone has to do the same thing What is it with people on this forum Jeez , I'm Priority 1 cheers hence why get tickets at front on first day...(crap seats first priority) I already know this , and good for u-.- what is this jeez bore off Read above comments shut up -.- not taking it out on them at all and if it's come across as that then it's not meant to be, just fed up of being told to sit when I don't want too and saying we r only club who sits is just a comment not a dig at blind disabled or anything ffs And thank u...which is why I'm annoyed shouldn't have to do what they say
jim5000 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I was on row E and everyone around me was stood up. Really enjoyed it, much better than being forced to sit at home!
Leicester_lad_92 Posted 18 October 2015 Author Posted 18 October 2015 I was on row E and everyone around me was stood up. Really enjoyed it, much better than being forced to sit at home! Least one of us did aha, felt like I need to ask to stand up when i needed to go down at HT
Leicester_lad_92 Posted 18 October 2015 Author Posted 18 October 2015 Sure somebody on here will correct me and say I didn't NEED to go down at HT or they've ..." been going for 6 years I've never once needed to go down and ask somebody to move"
BigMicky Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Return of the superfan posts. Can one of you 'ultras' please advise us all of the away day rules. I'd love to know what I can and can't do...
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I remember an away game last season, just before half time I started to walk down to the concourse but momentarily paused because we had a good chance at the other end. Anyway, the sit down brigade went absolutely mental, shouting and swearing at me. I saw more aggression in their faces than you do in the so called bloody hooligans!! They're a stroppy bunch when they get going! But on a serious note, I'm a stander and don't like being told to sit, but this is an argument that has been brought up many a time and there is never a conclusive solution. And there never will be until safe standing is brought in I don't think. The sooner that happens the better.
Dan Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 It's ****ing easy to stand at any away. Genuinely cannot remember the last one I sat at. Even easier now you can pick your ticket online.
Guest Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Prefer to stand. Get fcked off when the jobsworth stewards try and force seating. Think it works well enough on whole.. anyone who wants to sit should get seats near the front and vice versa. Everyone is happy. I need to move somewhere where I can stand for home games for next season.
