NewquayFox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 7s & 8s all round but 9s for Kante and the unsung heroes Morgan & Fuchs, only down point was how poor Schlupp was, he seems to lose interest like he did in the Arsenal game. Vardys record is phenomenal and Kante is just brilliant... Up the City....
thegaffa Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Kasper - 6 - not much to do Simpson - 8 -starting to impress me, playing consistently well and doesn't shirk a challenge Wes - 8 - was very good and pretty much bossed deeney/ighalo Huth - 8 - see Wes Fuchs - 8 - solid, composed and reliable Kante - 8.5 - excellent, compliments DD so well Drinky - 9 - dictated the tempo and his control of game management was immense, didn't think he could consistently deliver in the prem, my mistake!! Mahrez - 7.5 - quiet first half but better second half, has so much ability but for us he is a winger and that's where we get the best out if him Albrighton - 8 - good game and is so dangerous in the last third, his defensive work goes unnoticed but is good Schlupp - 6 - a few good passes especially the one that set Fuchs free to cross that nearly reached vardy, but it was a typical Jeff performance Vardy - 8.5 - typical work rate that sets the trend for the rest of them, worried the back four Everytime he had the ball and deserved his goal Subs Okazaki - 7 - always works hard and changed our attacking ethos today, he is a pest who I hope starts scoring as we seem to unsettle teams more when he's on the pitch Dyer - 6 - not enough time to judge King - 6 - same as dyer Ref - 8 - thought he did very well Don R - 8 - changed tactics and at the right time, so pleased he's our boss Mom - drinky - class 25 points already - wow
foxinsox Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Kasper 7 great double save first half Simpson 6 We need a right back Huth 8 Roughed up Ighalo nicely. Back to last seasons form Morgan 8 A Captains game Fuchs 8 We need to use his long throws more Schlupp 6 Not at his best Kante 7 I love this guy. Worst goal that you will see this season, but they all count. Stupid to give away penalty. Danny 8 Great partner for Kante Albrighton 8 some great crosses Mahrez 7 better on the wing Vardy 7 not his best game but still good. Shinji 6 needs a goal but adds a lot to the team Dyer 6 King 7 but a very brief appearance Tinkerman knows how to change a game. Those half time talks are astonishingly good Watford 6 not a bad side, but not good enough.
Guest ttfn Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Schmeichel 7 Simpson 7 Morgan 8 Huth 7 Fuchs 7 Albrighton 7 Kante 8 Drinkwater 6 Schlupp 6 Mahrez 6.5 Vardy 6.5 Subs: Okazaki 6.5 Dyer n/a King n/a but probably the best 4 minute sub performance I've ever seen!
Thracian Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Kasper 7 (One excellent save, one vital diversion of a cross and one bread and butter save that Gomez showed you could make a mistake with. That's not a lot but it needed doing). Simpson 8 (Sound once again. We've seeming much more solid since he's become established.) Morgan 9 (One absolutely vital defensive flick on to deflect a cross from Deeney's path when he looked certain to score. Otherwise rock solid.) Huth 8 (Marked tightly enough to let his opponents know they'd have no peace all game). Fuchs 8.5 (Dealt with a difficult opponent by staying tight and making all the right decisions. So calm and considered. Just did what was needed.) Kante 8 (Like a footballing dynamo, the bloke is all action and was generally outstanding. Fluky goal but he worked hard to create the chance and if you don't shoot you can't score. Shame about the penalty. As other's have mentioned he didn't appear the get the call he should have got but for all that he shouldn't have hesitated in that position but just have got rid) Drinkwater 10 (Almost regal in the way he conducted Leicester's midfield today. His variety of passes, the way he made time and space in tight situations, the winning of headers, defensive availability and attacking support ..... the guy was excellent even against highly physical opposition.)Mahrez 7 (Asked far more questions in the second half and might have had a goal from one mazey dribble). Albrighton 7.5 (Well involved defensively and in attack although, yet again, I didn't think his crosses were that potent in the main, especially the slow, floated ones. But then I didn't notice the space being available for the runners without Ulloa).Schlupp 6 (Failed to take on the full-back when he had chance and skied a reasonable goal chance. Looked better when he moved inside but needs to work tirelessly on his crossing and shooting. Not his best game. Looked a little uncertain at times). Vardy 8 (Had only a limited number of opportunities but deserved his eight for forcing the keeper to concede a penalty and then smacking it home with attitude. Clearly unsettled the Watford defence from the time he blocked a simple pass near the touchline towards the end of the first half and could well have scored from another typical break. Epitomised his own and the team's spirit by returning after what looked at first like a game-ending injury for him). Subs Okazaki 7 (Industrious as ever and contributed well in general, but opted out of shooting when he might easily have scored and still didn't pose much threat as an attacker. King 7 (Not on long but did exactly what was required. Broke up one late attack and retained possession in a constructive way thus helping prevent Watford from generating any kind of late momentum). Dyer (No significant impact)

Guest ttfn Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Honestly thought Drinkwater was little better than average today. Gave the ball away quite a lot, as he did last week and wasted our best chance of the first half by holding onto the ball way too long when both Mahrez and Vardy had made good runs.
Corky Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Schmeichel- 7 (Excellent save in the first half, especially the reaction time after the shot hit the post) Simpson- 7 Morgan- 8 (Great display from the ever-improving skipper. Some crucial interventions and his ability on the ball is underrated. Sol Bamba who can actually defend as well) Huth- 7 (Like last season) Fuchs- 7 (Proper left back on show here) Albrighton- 6 Drinkwater- 7 Kante- 7 (Poor decision making for the penalty, fortunate goal but first half he was everywhere. Livewire and hardly ever reckless) Schlupp- 6 Mahrez- 6 Vardy- 7 (Not too many chances but clever run, drew the keeper, smashed in the penalty. What a difference a year makes) Subs- Okazaki- 6 Dyer- 6 King- 6 (On for four minutes and did his job very well in helping us see out the game).
STEFFIFI Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 He had this mistake to not leave too early to ManU But I think he isn't in Deschamps' plans for Euro whereas he deserves more than a Moussa Sissoko...
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Anyone who doesn't have Morgan as MOTM was watching a different game. Their strikers didn't have a sniff except that first half chance, which Simpson should have dealt with.
foxfanazer Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Morgan - 9 Kante - 8 The rest - 6 or 7 Drinkwater a 6 or a 7. Really?
Aus Fox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Drinkwater, Fuchs and Kante were on a different planet and the difference between the two sides. Morgan was a beast at the back and Albrighton looked quality. On a side note I liked the loon of their right back, thought he was outstanding for them and just the player we need.
theessexfox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Kasper - 7 - Did his job Simpson - 7 - Very solid Morgan - 8 - Deeney and Ighalo were a handful but he came out on topHuth - 7 - Struggled with Ighalo's movement first half but overcame him Fuchs - 8 - Excellent Albrighton - 7 - Lots of hard work, good feet, decent quality Drinkwater - 8 - Great player this season, superb on the ball Kante - 6 - Love him but he was a tad sloppy at times Schlupp - 6 - Suddenly discovered aerial ability but didn't have a great impact going forward Mahrez - 6 - Not hugely involved but did well when he was Vardy - 7 - Heroic running off of that groin injury, and classic Vardy to win the penalty Okazaki - 6 - Did well at relieving some pressure
Juvenile Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Morgan 8 - not his biggest fan last season, this year and especially yesterday unbelievable. He seemed so composed, every clearance was more of a pass, awareness was brilliant. Real captains performance, long may it continue. Drinkwater - 7 really surprised at the9s n 10s, slowed the game down too much, perfect example was when he had about 30yards to run into but never bothered looking forward, 10 seconds later he pings a superb ball over to Mahrez on the wing. back yourself Danny!
smiggy6773 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Morgan - 9 Kante - 8 The rest - 6 or 7 I'd go for that
Dickov22 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Kasper 6 Not a lot to do Simpson 6 Like how he gets stuck in but so limited in attack Morgan 9 MOTM Great performance and for the second week running our best defender Huth 8 Played well Fuchs 8 Very good again Albrighton 8 Involved in everything and unlucky not to get on the scoresheet Drinkwater 8 Good again. Tired towards the end Kante 6 Not one of his better games but always involved Mahrez 6 Fairly quiet from him but much better once he switched out wide Schlupp 5 Brainless at times. Poor half Vardy 8 Won a penalty and caused havoc despite being injured. He's a robot Subs Okasaki 7 Got really involved and Vardy was better with a strike partner. His dives/making a meal of challenges is embarrassing though Others n/a Ranieri 10. He's either dead lucky or a genius because absolutely everything he tries, he pulls it off. Thought Watford were good- would love Ighalo here to play with Vardy. He was excellent
Bamba's Babes Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 How do people judge? Do you start at 0 and mark up or start at 10 and mark down based on the performance?
kingfox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Drinkwater a 6 or a 7. Really? Gave him a 7 Thought he was excellent in the first half, second half he was decent but not as good as the first half.
foxfanazer Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Gave him a 7 Thought he was excellent in the first half, second half he was decent but not as good as the first half. Fair enough mate. Always been a huge fan of his so maybe I'm more generous to him
Fox92 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Vardy and Kante pick of the bunch for me - 9. Drinkwater excellent again as was Fuchs - 8. 8 for Okazaki too who changed the game when he came on.
ThaiFox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Ranieri - 9 Set the team up well, and has the balls to change things at half time rather than waiting until late in the game. For me, this is one of his strengths. Kasper - 8 Thought he looked solid and dealt with everything well, especially his reaction save after they hit the post. Great passion & spirit too.Simpson - 8 Become so much more consistent with this run in the side and the other three looks much happier having him at right back.Morgan - 8 Very solid, best game of the season. Just wonder if he could he have done slightly more to get distance with the head out to Kante which led to the penalty?Huth - 8 Looked back to his best.Fuchs - 8 Pleased to have him back in the side. Superb and proper left back.Albrighton - 9 My MOTM. Did so much work, unlucky not to score and consistently looked dangerous.Drinkwater - 8 Bossed the midfield. Looks in great form. Did tire towards the end.Kante - 7 Great to see him score, loved his reaction. Caught out for penalty. Worked his socks off.Mahrez - 7 Good second half, unlucky not to score just after their penalty.Schlupp - 5 Deserved to be subbed at half time.Vardy - 8 Defenders are now so wary of him. Fantastic running after injury, winning the penalty and chasing defenders in the last few minutes to ensure their defenders couldn't get it up field quickly.Subs:Okasaki - 6 Usual high work rate. Dyer - 6 Floated around, tried hard.King - 6 Not easy to give him a rating for the time he was on!Watford - 6 Will easily survive. Organised and solid. Didn't offer much after they scored, which surprised me, although we defended very well to see the game out.Officials: - 7 Got both penalties right, and didn't notice many mistakes from them and tried hard to make the game flow.
Dickov22 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 How do people judge? Do you start at 0 and mark up or start at 10 and mark down based on the performance? 6 means he did his job, no less, no more. Then I go below and above accordingly !
Lichfieldfox. Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Surprised by high ratings for our players. I'm sure if we'd drawn the scores all round would have been lower. I scored 6/7 for most. It was pretty unspectacular but efficient compared to other matches. Watford looked pretty good kept the ball better than us and I was impressed by Capoue and Ighalo.
