Freesolo Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Feckin hate Newcastle and their deluded fans, this fixture is a must win for me...... Up the City...... I don't think their fans are deluded, they are a big club that has been struggling for some time obviously they are frustrated.
foxfanazer Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 One of the strongest sides psychologically against one of the weakest. That coupled with our pace against their shoddy defence should see us through
Christoph Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 I'd like to think this is going tobe similar to the Sunderland game and we're just all over them. There's no way we should lose this match but Leicester don't seem to be the best when we go into a game with an expectation to win.
justfoxes Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Would love to see a big win for city a good 0-6 but can see this on probably being a cheeky 0-2 win for us ! #COYB !

Juvenile Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 They were the better side against Sunderland until the sending off, and as everyone as mentioned absolutely shocking against Bournemouth. Bournemouth were equally as bad with their finishing though!! Same team that started 2nd half for me as well, maybe Ulloa instead of Okazaki? Allow Albrighton and Mahrez to whip some balls in.
Countryfox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Worrying. They looked absolute sh1t against Bournemouth. We are riding high. JV is on for his record equalling 10th goal. I'm going up to watch it and staying over. You can see where this is going .... Nah !! ... We'll stuff em 5 nil !!
Countryfox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 When did we last win at St James' park Saturday 21st November 2015 .... Sorry, I do a bit of time travelling in my spare time.
MC Prussian Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 When did we last win at St James' park 15th of April 2000. Cottee and Savage the scorers in a 2-0 away win.
sdb Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 So 15+ years since we've won there!! They still have 3 or 4 very handy players. Keep them quiet and we've a real chance though. Kante will need to be at his best. Or his usual I suppose.
Thracian Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Really felt for Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe. Through all his injury problems he's tried to stay true to his attacking beliefs and 20 shots to 2 shows how one-sided the game was in the southerner's favour. It wasn't always bad finishing that let him down, but brilliant goalkeeping too. Newcastle surely won't be that bad next time out but there's no reason we shouldn't win with the right attitude and application. Another clean sheet would be nice and a couple of goals to sweeten the journey home. .
Mikey Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 These will try and come at us with the pressure of the home crowd and think our attack will have to much for them. 0-2 to us.
ARM1968 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Due a win here but never easy. Should win but would take a draw tbf. We have the team to batter someone, maybe it will be Newcastle.
roblcfc84 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Sitting in the home end for this one - my sons a mag :-(, but i do still think theres time to save him.
Dan Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Think we're going to add yet another away win at a ground we generally struggle at. I think these are better than last year (saying that they spent a lot of last season playing like a bottom half Championship team) but I think we're still better. 1-2 Leicester.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 I think they are a decent team and have some good players. For me, I reckon that McLaren needs time to continually build Newcastle into a top half consistent side. There's potential for it and I think given the time he will lead them to success in the BPL IMO. Hope we can win, given the form we're in, I can see us getting at least a point if not all three.
My Nads Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 It's a Steve McClaren team, with worse players than Derby had! Newcastle are shocking! If we get an early goal, I feel the floodgates could open! nothing less than a 4 nil win for me.
Guest ttfn Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 Definitely both teams to score. I'm going to say 2-1 to us...
ScouseFox Posted 8 November 2015 Posted 8 November 2015 if we dont win three or four weve let ourselves down really
Alexikokopops Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 So 15+ years since we've won there!! To be fair that is only 5 games. Still not great mind!

RedSoxUK Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Have a feeling this will be a 1 - 5 game. Sore early, get their fans against them - have Huth rough up Mitrovic and get him sent off, and send Vardy after their incompetent defenders. Definitely a game for Ulloa and Vardy.
