We, on the other hand,have some serios pace and power whereas Newcastle would make a colony of sloths look energetic. I think we'll dick them.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 I think we've got a great chance but a lot depends on what state our squad is in after the internationals and which Newcastle turns up, they've looked good in patches this season if they're bang on their game it'll be a tight game, if they're off the pace we'll destroy them.

Got to say if we attack as we have been on the counter Newcastle would find it difficult to cope with our pace and crosses into the box,would love to see Vards get a hat trick in this one and hoping those dirty fouling Newcastle defenders miss their targets so I'm going for a 0-3 win for city !!

Take a win every time for me, particularly as it might be a while before we are in this position again. As for the game, I reckon it will be open and as mentioned before Newccastle seem to either play badly and win or play well and lose in recent weeks... 2-2 Vardy and Albrighton. Wijnaldum with a brace for Newcastle.

We really need to be winning games like this, but a Leicester City player making modern day Premier League history? Think I'd take a Vardy-earned draw tbh.

Guest Posted 10 November 2015 Posted 10 November 2015 If we win this we should start plotting our sat-navs for a european adventure - since the league went to 38 games, 40 teams have been sat in the position we're currently in, 95% have gone on to qualify for europe (80% in the CL), win this and it goes down to 33 with a 97% qualification rate (1 team in total failing - Aston Villa in 98/99) with 87% of sides finishing in the top four. Can't see us losing it, they're in all sorts of mess recently. You do know we defied the odds last season don't you?

Let's hope this one isn't the game that brings us crashing down to earth. That being said, if we're at our best and they're at their worst- it could be one of our easier fixtures.
