willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Both on fire but who would your vote go to now .
Staffs Fox Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Both have been exceptional but Vardy's been something else, Not only Leicester's player of the year but the Countries player of the year
GaelicFox Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Vardy is the leagues player of the season so far ! It's mental the level he has reached this season
goose2010 Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Vardy is out on his own and Kante and Drinkwater would give Mahrez a run for his money to!
Gerard Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Vardy is out on his own and Kante and Drinkwater would give Mahrez a run for his money to! I don't think they would but only because Mahrez has been absolutely exceptional. To think Mahrez has been our second best player this year when he's been one of the best players in Europe is insane, but he's rightly second to Vardy.

Countryfox Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Vardy 6 nil up already ! ..... How many more straight posts in a row does he need to break the record.
CharlieCharles Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Vardy, all though not by much. Mahrez had 7 goals, 5 assists.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Hard to look past Vardy being player of the season for the whole league at the moment.

He has been exceptional but only when he has been on his game, there has been a few where he has been poor and rightly dropped by CR where as Drinkwater and Kante have just been solid and a major success story so far.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Vardy. Mahrez has been great in most games but Vardy had just been pissing the league so far. Let's be honest, we would have considered 10 goals total from him a good season, the fact he's on 12 already with no sign of stopping is just amazing
Countryfox Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Mahrez Spoilsport !! ..... 2 more and he would have beat Len Shuttleworth's record from 1905.
Wymsey Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Mahrez - links up amazingly with great skill to assist Vardy etc. Without Mahrez, Vardy wouldn't have had so many goals this season.

Well flair players like Mahrez are never on their game 100% of the time. Considering he's played the majority of his minutes at RM in a 4-4-1-1 formation then his stats are exceptional and not out of place with Ronaldo or Messi who play in more attacking roles. http://www.squawka.com/comparison-matrix#premier_league/2015/2016/riyad_mahrez/165/165/11509/0/p|la_liga/2015/2016/cristiano_ronaldo/176/176/232/0/p|la_liga/2015/2016/lionel_messi/176/176/1569/0/p#goals_scored/assists/chances_created/key_passes#90

Although I mainly agree with this. Whilst Mahrez has been from awesome to fantastic at times, there have been a few games, or periods in games, where he has been quiet. But when Mahrez in on fire he has been unplayable. His second half performance against Villa, where he ghosted past player after player was sublime. However, Drinkwater & Kante have really made their midfield positions their own. They play very well together and have been very consistent.
Biggus Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 It's like asking which is your favourite child! No preference for me.
MooseBreath Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 I was going to say it's like asking which order you'd prefer your winning lottery numbers to come out in but favourite child probably nails the point a bit better.
Nick Posted 13 November 2015 Posted 13 November 2015 Controversial I know but Kante perhaps should be considered?
