Imagine what the miserable old farts on the sunday supplement are going to say about us. All of them are nasty, spiteful, ignorant, sneering Leicester haters.

Just set it to record lol

Dynamic panel - bursting with charisma.

I can't believe people take Danny Mills so seriously lol

We should be grateful to people like him that keep putting us down, we'll prove them wrong again and again.

Their just expecting the bubble to burst that's all. Which it will at some point, don't really see why pundits predicting us to lose is so annoying. I'm just delighted we are in the form we are in if people want to mark us down to lose that's up to them, I don't doubt there will be an occasion where mark lawrenson has us down to lose at home to someone like Bournemouth, everyone on here has us down as dead Certs and he ends up being bang on the money.....that's football. He is after all required to predict every game every week and has to give an opinion one way or the other.

In terms of praise I think on the whole the media has far from ignored us, it's just that we know as well as they do we probably aren't going to maintain top four form all season. Next month will be very telling in terms of where we actually are I think.

Good post. Agree with all you say

Mills was the twat who wanted B teams in the football league calling it 'the way forward'.

We get lots of credit for how we're playing. We're not hated and we're not ignored.

Not sure why some fans feel the need to want the 'no-one likes us we dont care' thing. I think we're actually quite popular amongst a lot of journalists.

Tbf loads of pundits have given us credit and to Vardy too.

(Maybe these were the same ones who had uz relegated when Claudio was appointed, but loads on here were crying too!!)

Every week I have a look what the Sky & BBC pundits predict as a result for us. And every week I see and hear that we will lose or best case scenario draw. This week that idiot Mark Lawrenson (Lawro) had us losing 2-1 to Newcastle. Last week had us losing to Watford and Crystal Palace prior to that. Don't think he has ever predicted us to win.

That other moron Jaime Redknapp on Sky. How does he get such a job. Clueles. His old man invented some injury last season to quit QPR so he wouldn't have relegation on his CV. Family of losers.Tw*ts on MOD. Clueless.

I am honestly believing that they cannot admit that we are a good team. We are not just lucky. Can you imagine if Sir / Prince Harry Kane, Sterling, Rooney or any another player from one of the so called big clubs was having the season Vardy is. They would be organising a parade for him or and maybe performing a giant circle jerk amongst themselves while watching his goal highlights. We must scare them. They all got their predictions wrong about our team and Ranieri and can't admit it. We are the new face of the EPL. Playing an old fashioned 442 and we are winning when no one else at 442 can.And fear no one.

50 pts from our last 22 games is the best return of any team in the PL.... Really can't be arsed to check, but I'd imagine it's the best record in the entire league! Unbeaten 'on the road' for 8 months+ and, should results go right next w/e, could be clear leaders with 'daylight'!!

Irrespective of the pundits views, we have earned the right to be respected as a 'Prem' club..

22 games in we would be top by 6 points... I think pundits can use the words good side now

I don't mind the team not getting credit from some as long as the majority acknowledge the truth. Everyone knows about Merson but Niall Quinn is practically tattooing a fox on his forehead at the moment.

What irks me a little bit, although it may be a blessing in disguise, is the lack of analysis about how we're getting results. People seem to think it's just Vardy with a bit of input from Mahrez. There's some praise for Drinkwater too and that's about it. Last season when Southampton were in a similar position, there was a lot of analysis about how they were doing it. It's partly because everyone understandably wants to focus on Vardy but there are other factors.

The Monday Night Football analysis segment on Sky has changed this season to go in-depth on the big fixture of the weekend rather than pick up things like our success. I may be wrong but I'd be surprised if it's not all about Man City v Liverpool tomorrow night before the Tottenham game, whereas last season they showed a lot of Southampton's high pressing and attacking interplay.

I think you have to accept we've had quite a lot of luck in the past few games where refereeing decisions or opposition howlers have helped us to get points. However, what I've noticed in the past two away games is that it's been like watching a top four club regardless of the goals or big talking points. The football has improved hugely to the point where, for the opposition, it must be like playing against one of the big clubs and the result is flattering to them rather than us.

I don't know whether the analysis of Southampton got to their heads or helped teams highlight their weaknesses but I'm confident that we're functioning excellently as a team rather than solely relying on Vardy. The defence is improving and the midfield is starting to look a lot more comfortable in controlling games. That's definitely different to last season and even the start of this one. That's the key thing I haven't seen mentioned in the media. Maybe that's a good thing...

He usually gives credit when due, but generally only after the game when we have won. Think he had us also to lose against Newcastle this week.

Re: Merson

No he predicted a 2-2 pre match, and I can report he more often that not has us down as winners or at least not losing.

He's been saying for weeks that he really rates us.

I don't give a shit if they don't give us credit, you only have to look at the other clubs fans to see that they really give us credit.

I still think it's important that our good form doesn't emanate to arrogance from our fans suggesting we're going to do this and do that. We're only a third of the way into the season with plenty of games to go. Some of the comments I've heard that a CL place is nailed on etc is far too premature. We still need to be realistic with our goals and this start has given us an opportunity to do so.

Having said that, people who question our lack of games against the traditional top clubs as a reason why our position is flattering are a little deluded. Even if we lost every game against those top four clubs but continued to beat those below them, we'd have had a fantastic season and certainly a top six finish.

I don't think anyone, other than the most deluded, think we've suddenly become a top four side, or even that to be one is an immediate goal. Our priorities over the next few years are PL survivors, an established PL team, a top ten side, and then whatever leads on from there. There's a mini league below the top four that include Liverpool, Everton, Spurs etc that we need to become a part of before biting off more than we can chew. That doesn't happen in one season so I'm quite content to be patient and realistic in what we can achieve.

However, top of the league and playing the way we are is fantastic and we need to enjoy it as much as possible.

You are right for sure, of course champions league is just a dream still, but I can dream whilst we are making the 19 teams below us and the media look like mugs

Merse might be a complete idiot most of the time, but he was one of very few who had us staying up last year, and he was the only pundit who didn't lose faith and kept saying we were good team and it'd turn around.

Of course, we need to relish it as much as possible. We just need to make sure we don't look like mugs ourselves by people getting carried away.

It's as important to be humble in victory as it is to be gracious in defeat.

I don't know how not to get carried away. This season could possibly be the high water mark for us as a club. No matter how well we 'consolidate' over the next few years we are unlikely to ever again be in the situation where we are top with definitively the best attack in the league.

You were doing well until the "lot of luck line? Absolute horseshit. No luck about it, Kante and Drinkwater both unplayable at the moment. Vardy and Mahrez absolute top drawer with no little skill between them. If we were Arsenal, Spurs Liverpool Man City, Man Utd all pundits media would be raving about us. Listened to talksport at lunchtime pundits were basically still ripping the piss out of us and saying generally it wont last and we were lucky etc, etc, funnily enough your very line.

We are playing great football and look bloody good. Pundits and media may well rip the piss out of little old Leicester but we are sticking it to them how best we know how playing good attacking football, long may it continue.

This time last year when we were bottom every other thread was about how unlucky we were, now we're top there's no such thing as luck. With any half competent goal keeper Watford would have had at least a point. If Bournemouth's best 2 players hadn't gone off injured could well have beaten us. We've had some very generous reffing decisions go our way as well .

Luck plays a part, you just shouldn't make too much of it.

I think it is disingenuous to suggest we haven't had some serious luck this season.

Also, much as I loathe him, Shearer came straight out last night and said how well we played and named about 5 of our players.

Agree with someone above saying he hopes this doesnt make some fans arrogant.

I dont like hearing 'ole' when we're winning. Its the kind of thing that can bite you in the arse.
