It was never on.we had an easy start and a lot of luck. The table never lies at the end of  the season. We will be between 2nd and 4th. This team couldn't compete with 2014.

We have the worst set of centebacks we've had for years, they set the tone and have got away with murder this season.

2nd time Bristol City have broken a run of 25 (?) games for a side.

Beat Southampton's winning run and today stopped us scoring and broke our consecutive run.

There are 3 records records people often think will be beaten but arent, which just remind people of the difficulty of each.

- Arsenal's unbeaten season

- Reading's 106 points

- Vardy's 11 in a row

The Opponents PPG values relate to the average home or away Points Per Game values of all opponents faced by each team in the last 6 games. Those home PPG or away PPG values are based on the seasonal Home PPG of the opponents that have been played away and the seasonal Away PPG of the opponents that have been played at home. So the opponents home or away PPG values are always based on ALL home games or on ALL away games of the opponents during the league season (not just in the opponents' last 6 games).

It's 'the process'.

Remember that - when fans had an almost cult like dedication to 'the process'. You couldn't question it. The football PhDs came at you left right and center and told you it was breathtaking.

Would love to hear more about this process. Nobody could ever outline it for me and it seems that it's made the club regress.

Leicester City FC  ·

Since the last International break, the top three in the Championship have played 15 games between them… They’ve won five of them! 🤓

So much for needing a break/rest/reset.

What's interesting to me is that the bottom half of the Championship woke up one morning and decided they could compete.

Leicester City could break their own Championship record
It’s recently emerged, that if Leicester win their final two games, they will become the first team since the turn of the century to win 32 in a single Championship season.

The current record is 31, set by Manchester City, The Foxes and Reading, as per playmakerstats.

Nigel Pearson’s title-winning side in 2013/14 amassed 31 wins and a whopping 102 points and whilst the current City team can’t surpass or equal that, they can one-up them for victories.

No team has ever failed to win automatic promotion from the championship with 90+ points

2023/24 season - "hold my beer"

Just goes to show the level of this season and the accomplishment can't be ignored considering the changes we went through in the summer, starting with what was nothing short of a disastrous pre season trip

This makes me think of our title season 15/16. Where people were saying all the "big teams" had an off year. I like to think of it differently, that year was one of the most competitive in the PL history, all teams taking points off of each other and we came out on top. Making us the most worthy winners, along with Man Utd in 97.

Or maybe I'm Biased 🤣

I think we get on more solo record (as well as most 2nd tier championships); most promotions/relegations to the top tier.

How does that work. We started out in the 2nd tier, so after tonight, we must have 1 more promotion than relegation.

(Unless we've got a points deduction big enough to already relegate us next season??? )

This stat was before last week.

Therefore we now have 13 promotions 12 relegations. No one else can ‘boast’ that!
