Aberdeenfox Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Champions because i think the don will sign some back up in january and vardy mahrez and kante will stay free of injury - fingers well and truely crossed
STUHILL Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 I think 4th with Man City winning it, Arsenal 2nd and Man U grinding their way to just finish above us in 3rd. Tottenham 5th with nice gap from us
Mikey Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Did a predictor at the start of November and got us 8th. Did one a couple of days ago and got us finishing 3rd, a couple of points ahead of United and Spurs and 7 behind Arsenal in first.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 I really don't know? Anything is possible with Leicester City!!
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 We will win it. We have shown we can get to the top of a league and stay there.
Harry - LCFC Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Surprised so many people think we're most likely to finish 1st. I still doubt it's even possible personally.
HighPeakFox Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Surprised so many people think we're most likely to finish 1st. I still doubt it's even possible personally. I think that you misunderstand what 'possible' means. If you mean it's highly improbable, then I have to reluctantly agree, but it is entirely possible.
Harry - LCFC Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 I think that you misunderstand what 'possible' means. If you mean it's highly improbable, then I have to reluctantly agree, but it is entirely possible. Yeah I meant if figuratively rather than literally I suppose. I've had my on Spurs and Liverpool for the last couple of months rather than City and Arsenal.
FireFox Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Champions. We are the best team this season, simple as that. I don't care if Arsenal or Man City have "better squads". What does that even mean? The injury argument is also bs. We haven't been lucky. We just actually look out for our players unlike some teams.Arsenal and Man City are more likely to have more devastating injuries than us, even if they already have had bad injuries.
Daz93 Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Third. Arsenal to go on and win the league after beating us. We'll deflate a bit and Man City will pass us just before the finish. Man Utd continue to bore their way to 4th place with Spurs drawing too many times and finishing in 5th.
filbertway Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Is anyone else still struggling to accept we're genuinely a very good team with a top manager and not just hitting a good patch of form? When someone asks where I think we will finish, my immediate thought is top 14 - then I remember where we are, then I remember how well we have been playing. I still think top 6 should be the aim at this stage as even good teams have to hit a rough patch of form at some point. The longer we maintain a good gap between ourselves and 4th though, the more we will have to look as being an actual top 4 side. It still makes me laugh to think that
Dan Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 We are a good side who have done what most of our ilk don't, and actually find a group of players who fit a specific style, combined with a ruthless attitude (Vardy embodies this), and this is what you get. There are too many fans up and down the country who write off the possibility of the big boys wobbling even though they're blatantly getting weaker (look at their performances in Europe compared to 8 years ago). This month has shown that we are well worth it. You look at the way we won at Swansea & Newcastle as well - those pair were both terrible but I can't help but wonder if we made them look terrible, because hardly anyone is winning those kind of games as comfortably as we are. Man City will be a nervy game, but do not believe that we can't beat them.
Finnaldo Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Champions. Why not? Not going to be disappointed if we finish in the top 8 so what's the point in predicting anything less? I believe in the boys to go the mile with what they've produced and that's what the players constantly come out and say has a massive impact on their game. It'll take an impressive drop for us not to achieve our best finish in modern history so there's no disappointment regardless, but it's time to push the boys and believe that's it's our year and not just a nice story of how we finished third or fourth or fifth. I BELIEVE
Jackster21 Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 We could become champions however I think Arsenal will win the league. I think we'll finish either second or third and I think that if we get good results against Liverpool and Man City we are 100% secured in the top four. As long as we're playing champions leauge football next year I'm happy.
MooseBreath Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Arsenal - perennial bottlers Man City - managerial doubts, inconsistent Man Utd - managerial doubts, poor Spurs - long way behind Liverpool - mid table for a reason Watford - just as likely as anyone to challenge us for top 4 If we don't finish top 4 from here I'll be disappointed
Vardinio'sCat Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 too far from the end of the season to say, but we are in the fight for european football, for sure. In the cricket, Boycott always bangs on about not getting carried away by mentally adding 2 wickets to your current score, because that can happen in a flash. We could lose a couple of games quite easily, which would put us more in the fight for CL, rather than outright champions. That's my attempt to manage my expectations, anyway! It's proving increasingly difficult to do...
Mark7 Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 Top four, possibly runners-up. And this time it actually means something. Unlike in the 1920s and '60s Relegated, due to a sudden and inexplicable collapse in form, if ever anyone on the BBC Radio Leicester sports team suddenly has the urge to play that song on air again
AKCJ Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 In all seriousness, I can't see there being 4 teams finishing above us from this position. It'd require relegation form for a good 2 months.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 No team that has been top of the PL after 17 games has finished lower than 4th.
