I have removed 'Relegated' from the options as within two minutes two 12 year olds picked it - because it is funny...

why put the relegation option on if you dont want people to vote for it?

If we won the title that would be truly amazing, I mean, a top 10 finish is still very decent, and a top 4 finish is outstanding. I'm hoping we can be in the top 4 come May. I believe if we maintain our focus on what we're good at, keep the team spirit & togetherness and continue to do what we're doing, we can really finish in the top 4 in which champions league would follow.

Champions.

We are the best team this season, simple as that. I don't care if Arsenal or Man City have "better squads". What does that even mean?

The injury argument is also bs. We haven't been lucky. We just actually look out for our players unlike some teams.Arsenal and Man City are more likely to have more devastating injuries than us, even if they already have had bad injuries.

Arsenal and Man C have Europe to contend with too, so they're much more susceptible to tiredness and injuries.

Voted top 4 but i think we could go all the way.

As its christmas i think we need to raise our glasses and make a toast to the man who made this all possible, Nigel Pearson's................son.

Champions !!

Because we are playing like champions, winning games when we're not playing our best, there is an air of confidence with the team and the atmosphere at the ground is amazing- there is the same kind of buzz when we ran away with league 1 and the championship we are playing without fear or pressure and have been doing so since March. Apart from Arsenal - the other 'big' clubs are all having some kind of turmoil this year with managers so I really do think we have a great chance of doing it.

I would be happy with top 6 don't get me wrong, to be fair I'm happy anyway we've more or less secured another year in the premiership anything else is a bonus - but it does seem like it's our year.

Yep love your post sums me up toooo Champions .

#1 for me. Because this season even on a bad day when the team plays below its usual level like most of the game vs Everton, Leicester can still win it. I believe it's a rare quality, a quality of champions. I'm so spoiled by this season I would be slightly disappointed if Leicester don't win it :D It's such a great opportunity to edge it over the usual top 4 pretenders, and hopefully build on that success later. What a fairy tale it would be. Getting into top 4 would still be absolutely massive though.

If we get 4 points from our next 2 games I will believe in a top 2 finish.

I don't care what people say about Arsenal being bottlers, with everyone fit, and even despite contending with their usual injuries this season they are an incredible team. They are getting it together for sure. It will take a ridiculous effort for them to not overtake us.

I'm going 5th or 6th. The rest of this post may seem ridiculous though! So far it has suited our style to have played the better teams at home and the weaker teams away. This has meant that teams have consistently attacked us allowing us to hit them on the counter. There will be some weak teams who we play at home in the second half of the season who will sit back and be prepared to settle for a point - this does not suit our style at all. We have also still got to play Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea away from home - as good as we have been so far this season I could easily see us picking up less than 5 points from those 6 games - and we still have to play Liverpool and Manchester City at home.

I agree that this " better squad" thing is a myth, based on nothing more than ill-judged player reputation and cost. There are more reasons why Arsenal, Man C and Man U will slip up than us. I have a sneaky fear for Slurs (oops), though, as they are v solid and the impact of Dele Alli may increase as the season progresses (but they still probably don't have enough to catch us). All this could be changed by the transfer window, though).

To be honest I'm so happy the way we've started. Top of the league at Christmas is amazing. A top 10 finish (which looks likely) is a great success in itself. I think we have the potential to finish top 6.

I voted champions.

Every now and then, once a generation at most, an unbelievable sporting underdog emerges victorious against all the odds.

When Ali defeated Foreman, not one so called expert or pundit gave Ali a chance, there were even calls from some media sources to cancel the fight due to such a mismatch of size, strength and power..

Ali not only won back his title but later stated that this was the fight that defined him as a fighter- set him up to go on to be the greatest ever.

Our friends in Notts.

Again massive underdogs.

The longer their run went on after their promotion the more the media, pundits and every other rival fan kept on repeating " their run has to end soon" and " they'll never have enough to stay there".

They won the league.

Then they were written off again Europe.

They won it.

I never once before felt that I as a leicester fan would be able to live our dream.

And now we are.

I don't need people to agree or believe.

I just want to them to support the team the best they can. That's the only difference we make.

And like history, make it we will.

Merry Xmas, pass another bottle hic.

I'm hoping the two sad sacks who dropped votes for us finishing 15th-17th were just doing it for shits, otherwise there are some true pessimists amongst us.

Went for 5th to 6th.

Mainly due to the fact that 40 years of underachieving and being let down can't be cast away in my mind by 9 months of great football.

Great set up, wonderful owners, superb talent, fantastic team spirit and a totally irrational feeling it will all fall apart.

There is quite an eerie resemblance to the Atletico Madrid side of two years back. I think what they achieved that season is quite possibly the most impressive thing I've seen in football (Greece was a bigger shock but that's over 6 games as opposed to 38), consider Atletico were a minute from being champions of Europe as well. The same formation, the same desire, the same high pressing, the same counter attacking, the same trip to the current champions on the final day...

What they did that season made me think anything's possible in football, that's why I'll simply laugh at anyone who refuses to include us in the title challenge.

First ever post, I can't get to games like I used to. BUT I BELIEVE WE CAN DO IT,1st. probably Xmas beer talking but I love this team and they just keep getting those 3 points when you'd be happy with 1. First time in my life when we've gone into games against supposedly top 4 teams thinking we'll get something from this rather than how many we'll we lose by. Love this team and this is our year. Let's all believe, hope and keep supporting this great team whatever happens.
