AjcW Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 No one fancy seeing the Was Wes combo? Thought they were brilliant against Everton!
NewEnglandFox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Ranieri out. Horse sh*t, talk about kneejerk bs reaction, give me strength. I was not impressed with the changes today. I thought they were done with Tuesday in mind instead of making the most of the game we were in. Claudio loves making a halftime sub if it's not working out and today he did not when it was clear we were dominated in the first half. I would have expected Shinji or King to come off at the half. He loves making a 67' change as well and today he did the double replacing the front 2 but only after Liverpool had scored. It is very similar to what happened against Chelsea with the momentum completely with our opponent and the game crying for a change to disrupt the opponents momentum and then waiting too long getting burned by a goal. So no, I'm not happy with Mr. Ranieri today. I have no problems with who came on. I figured it wouldn't be a surprise to see Kram during this period. Claudio said we didn't look good in the first half and didn't play until the last 30 minutes. Well Cladio, why didn't you do something about it? Waited for a timetable change instead? Come on.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 One more to go from the 6 "big Rocks" fixtures where everybody were expecting Leicester to drop lot of points and the lead... Well Leicester is still on top collected 10pts from the last 5 games 3W, 1D, 1L, while United got only 2pts! Not bad, Not bad at all. Good context. It is a bit of a shock actually losing, but it has been a fantastic spell. I'd be happy enough with a point against Man C, because draws with us are far more painful for the 'big teams', than they are for us. After all, look what has happened to Man U after we drew with them, 9 points is it? We are like the Grim Reaper for these teams, at the mo!
chicagofox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 The team half assed today. A result against Man City is now imperative. No they didn't and no it isn't.
chicagofox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 This is the same Man City that were awful against Stoke, drew at Villa, and scraped an injury time win against Swansea. Yes, they can be devastating. But they can also be very average. Why do we always build up every opponent like they are the combined 11 of Barca and Bayern Munich? I'd like to see Inler start in a midfield three.
Callabinho Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 They will go right through us like a steam train. It will be easy for them. 0-4 at least.
Merging Cultures Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 The team half assed today. A result against Man City is now imperative. No result on Tuesday makes today's loss look ever worse. The team worked really hard. Too hard IMO. The quality just wasn't there. But it's harsh to say the half assed it.We definitely need to invest in Jan. But listing to Liverpool and then Man City during the Christmas period, really wouldn't be a big problem.
chicagofox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 They will go right through us like a steam train. It will be easy for them. 0-4 at least. No they won't. That I can guarantee
Vindaloo FOX Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Dyer is a must starter for me, I love Albrighton but Dyer's speed scares the living life out our defenders and that is what our side is all about speed.

Well Leicester is still on top collected 10pts from the last 5 games 3W, 1D, 1L, while United got only 2pts! Not bad, Not bad at all. Exactly! Talks of a collapse for crying out loud. At the start of the season, if we have won 2 games of this period i would have been over the moon.
Callabinho Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 4-2-3-1? Vardy Dyer Krama Mahrez Kante Drinky (hopefully)?
lgfualol Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Sounds crazy but I wouldnt be surprised if Mahrez didn't start.

I refer you to my original response. Only our SECOND loss of or the season and we're still top by 2 points! The OP was worded like we were in last year's position and it was the end of the world. I'm all for constructive criticism and analysis but our team and manager do not deserve bs criticism and kneejerk reactions over yesterday's defeat at Anfield.

However....we still need another very good striker mate. Lose Vardy and we ain't gonna score anywhere near as many. You're right though, the over reaction is utterly ridiculous.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Either comfortable Man City win or we get back to winning ways Up the Foxes Leicester win You missed the draw out Bob

You're right though, the over reaction is utterly ridiculous. Hey bud, I couldn't believe some of the stuff I was reading yesterday and unfortunately New England fox has got the brunt of my dismay. The team it appears were off colour yesterday and Klopp tactically out started Ranieri and Liverpool beat us at Anfield ffs! Nothing to do with BTS here, we've been nothing short of sensational and our points haul overall and from our so called wheels coming off, difficult Christmas games has been spectacular. Yes we probably do need strengthening/options but massive criticism and overreaction...... incredulous!
Mark7 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Manchester City's record on the road is nothing to write home about. They haven't won a domestic league away game since early September and have lost to the likes of Everton, Spurs, Stoke, Liverpool (4-1, so we managed a better result than the mighty, unassailable moneybags City) and Arsenal. They've also only managed to get a draw at Villa. Stop and think about that one for a minute. The team that was supposed (along with Chelsea) to be in a two horse race for the title being held by the team who are practically giving away points this season. Also, Leicester has a TERRIBLE Boxing Day match record (probably too much Christmas pud and brandy) over the years. Losing was the most likely result. Even if we'd been playing Villa The unwarranted fatalism/pessimism I've seen displayed by some posters in this thread is one of the uglier aspects of the Leicester character. I wish you'd bloody well drop it already. The Universe isn't out to get us and even the best teams have off-days.
Mainlander Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 We all have off days and a defeat at some point was inevitable. Natural for some people to be critical but Man City will be a totally different game and lets hope for a similar run the same as we got after the Arsenal game

Natural for some people to be critical but Man City will be a totally different game and lets hope for a similar run the same as we got after the Arsenal game Totally Mainlander, constructive criticism/ analysis is part of being a football fan , especially of LCFC over the years It appears that due to the season we're having some seem to be losing all sense of perspective!
Domsdad Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 We need to take a leaf out of Liverpools book. They reacted to playing poorly against Watford by being up for it against us. A similar response from us on Tuesday and we will be fine.
CharlieCharles Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 This is such a big game, loose and we are almost guaranteed to go third. (Arsenal home to Bournemouth)
LCFC FOX Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater Albrighton Kramaric Vardy
TheMightySystem Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater (Or Inler if Drinkwater isn't fit) Albrighton Kramaric Ulloa (Vardy needs a rest, maybe bring him on with 30-20 minutes to go)
Seth's dong Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I'd freshen up the team a bit as some players looked tired yesterday and am assuming Vards and Drinky won't play! Schmikes Simmo Fuchster Morgo Huthy Dyer Kante Inler Mahrez Ulloa Krammy
