Nalis Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Well actually we had a poor game last week as well, but somehow managed to get a result I'd argue that the performance v Everton was average rather than poor but I'll agree to disagree.
foxes21 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Dyer Vardy Kramaric
lee7 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I would like to see dyer get a start against these. Like others have said it is only our second loss of the season and we are top by 2 points still even after losing, however I fear a heavy defeat against Man City. & the start of a losing run. I don't know why but I've just got a horrible feeling we'll go on a bad run now.
FoxinNotts Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I'd go with Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Inler Kante Albrighton Kramaric Vardy I think the planets have aligned, and the time has come to start Kram and Inler. Give them a go. Nothing to loose on Tuesday really. They should be able to play without too much pressure. If they fail, then at least we've assessed them.
Pasty1 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Not much faith on 'ere....... Vardy had man flu... and an off day at the office...... Liverpool needed that after Watford...... Fancy us for a point against City... 1-1. Let's hope Drinky's back and we regroup....

Now that is interesting be a gamble certainly, but saying that Okazaki and Ulloa don't seem to score regularly. This may sound daft but could we ever play Jeff Schlupp back up front, cause if remembered originally in his earlier year he was a striker.
midland_red Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 One of Vardy or Mahrez needs a rest this match, with the obvious evil consequences being faced. I think we'll lose anyway so would be prepared to run some risks with this match - but talk of collapse is entirely premature. Everyone loses sometimes.....
Father Ted Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Team selection will depend a lot on the fitness of Drinkwater and Vardy. If both are fit, both will start I reckon. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mahrez left out with Albrighton playing on the right and Dyer on the left. If Drinkwater isn't fit, I can see Inler getting a start. If both are fit I would go with: Schmeichel Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Vardy Ulloa It will certainly be Ranieri's biggest selection headache of the season. Albrighton is looking less effective with each passing game, almost felt like he was chasing their right back yesterday for most of the game and busting a gut to get back but then couldn't attack as he had nothing left in the tank.
NewquayFox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Agree with FoxinNotts on this one, as poor as Kramaric was when he came on this will be his chance to prove himself or not, Inler should come in for King too as we know he is capable but again he hasn't had a chance to prove himself. This will be a cracker of a game.... Up the City (Leicester of course)
foxes21 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Just curious, who is quicker out of Dyer & Albrighton do you think?
Leicesterpool Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Just curious, who is quicker out of Dyer & Albrighton do you think? Dyer by a long mile I think, while Albrighton's strength is the power in his crosses.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Indeed Don't worry pal Claudio said the boys were hurting after the game.... that's music to my ears for the bounce back performance! COYB
st albans fox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Whoever plays behind the frontman will be dropping back to help the midfield 2 against their three Might I suggest this is a pretty good shout for playing 3-5-2 ? Citeh don't play with real width and rely on their full backs to get in behind. They will only play Aguerro on his own up top. If we start 3-5-2, will give us an early tactical advantage. Only issue is that we would have to pick benny or was and that gives them an hours warning of our set up unless RDL is fit as he can play RWB and/or one of the three.
desertfox2 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Think we will win this 2-0 everyone goes back to dreaming of the title
MC Prussian Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Ranieri won't revert from his 4-4-2. Biggest question marks I have for our attack - will Vardy be rested properly for this? Will we see Ulloa partnering Okazaki (or even Kramaric) from the start for this one for the very first time? Also not sure we should risk Drinkwater already, so it's either King or Inler in the middle alongside Kanté for me. Schmeichel Fuchs Huth Morgan Simpson Albrighton/Dyer Kanté Drinkwater/King/Inler Mahrez Ulloa/Okazaki/Kramaric Vardy/Okazaki

Gerard Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 FFS anyone suggesting a rest of Mahrez or Vardy. The only reason they shouldn't start is if they're not fit enough to start. If we have the slightest aspirations of winning this league we can't be resting our best players in what may prove to be a season defining game. They play against Man City, they play against Bournemouth and then I have absolutely no problem them having ten days without a game, miss the FA Cup match and back for Spurs away in the league.
Callabinho Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Seems like Aguero may miss the game also. Which would be a huge boost.
Ric Flair Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Dyer Kramaric Vardy Subs: Albrighton, Ulloa, Okazaki, Inler, Hamer, Wasyl, King
lee7 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Dyer Kramaric Vardy Subs: Albrighton, Ulloa, Okazaki, Inler, Hamer, Wasyl, King This is the team I'd like to see start
Guest Papasmurf Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Want to see Dyer start. Last time he had any sort of time on the pitch was Southampton and he looked very dangerous.
