The Quick Brown Fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 We can't go and play like we did today, we were not interested from start to finish. So unlike the Leicester of this season.
Foxxed Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Unless Vardy is fit and we'll, I'd put Shinji in his place. Even if he is fit, I'd be tempted to start him on the bench. I'd be tempted to rest/bench Mahrez too. Dyer looked decent and hungry against Liverpool. Get Drinky back in his normal place. The defence was the only decent thing about Liverpool. Christ, it's not too many days away, meaning it's really difficult to justify Vardy and Mahrez.
weller54 Posted 26 December 2015 Author Posted 26 December 2015 Vardy and Mahrez must be rested.. They looked so tired today..
NewEnglandFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 The team half assed today. A result against Man City is now imperative. No result on Tuesday makes today's loss look ever worse.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 After their 4-1 win today, they're going to have confidence heading into Tuesday's game I'd have thought. Anything from the game would be a very decent response following our 1-0 defeat today.
m4DD0gg Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Play like we did today and they will take us to the cleaners, I fully expect us to not play as bad but with injuries and this virus going around we could be thin on the ground and it certainly shows. Fingers crossed for at least a point though or better yet finish 2015 in style.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Either comfortable Man City win or we get back to winning ways Up the Foxes Leicester win
Vindaloo FOX Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 got a good feeling about this game, I think we will have them . 3-1 LCFC .
Juvenile Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Liverpool away was always going to be the most difficult in this xmas run, especially without Drinky. Bin King off, Inler in if Drinky is still out. I would start with Vardy and Ulloa, however Shinji pestering their nervous defence could be appealing. I would like to see Dyer start but maybe save that for Bournemouth.
the govnr's son Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 the line up I want to see: kasper fuchs morgan de laet waseleski dyer mahrez kante drinkwater vardy kramaric
the govnr's son Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 fingers crossed de bruyne is not playing I reckon he is our biggest threat
Gerard Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Vardy and Mahrez must be rested.. They looked so tired today.. Vardy & Mahrez can play against Man City and Bournemouth and then have ten days off. Positives from today: 1) Kompany won't play against us and Aguerro isn't 100% fit yet 2) Arsenal getting thumped should pick our spirits up. We lost and lost well today but look at Arsenal. We're still top by two points and not swallowed by the pack yet. Beat Man City on Tuesday and it's game on again.
wardyfox86 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 I think the most pleasing aspect of the last month is, even in the worst case scenario, we will come away from this so called tough period only a point of the top. Hoping for a good performance even if the result isn't what we want, because today we got neither.
CharlieCharles Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 1-3 Man City. Got a feeling we will play well but the class of their team will show over the 90 minutes.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 The results have gone our way after that loss... we are still two points clear after 18 played. You start to think it is meant to be, 2-1 Leicester
Izzy Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 I'm usually quite pessimistic, but got a feeling we'll beat Man City. We're back at home with a pissed up, rowdy evening crowd behind us who will carry us over the line. The players will be hurt and demand a response off each other. Just when everyone thinks we've stumbled, we'll put on a show and make people sit up again and really take us seriously. I don't think Man City are that great and are definitely beatable. I'm going for a famous 3-0 win for us and a very happy new year.
CharlieCharles Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Kasper Fuchs Morgan Wasyl Simpson Mahrez DD Kante Albrighton Kram Vardy
Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 The team half assed today. A result against Man City is now imperative. No result on Tuesday makes today's loss look ever worse. Horse sh*t, talk about kneejerk bs reaction, give me strength.
GingerrrFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Time for a change up. If Drinkwater is fit he goes straight back in. Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs Mahrez Kante Drinkwater/Inler Dyer Kramaric Vardy Subs: Schwarzer, Wasilewski, Benalouane, Inler/Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Ulloa.
Thracian Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Another big game tactically for Ranieri. They reminded me of Arsenal on a good day today. Lots of clever passing and moving and in many areas. And if we can't neutralise DeBruyne we'll have no chance. What a footballer. So much energy, vision and imagination but also a good provider of both a finish and a final pass. Yes, there are others who can cause damage but he has so much versatility and cunning. It'll be as difficult a game as Liverpool but in a totally different way and we'll need everyone to be at their very best - again!
Fennec-Fox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 One more to go from the 6 "big Rocks" fixtures where everybody were expecting Leicester to drop lot of points and the lead... Well Leicester is still on top collected 10pts from the last 5 games 3W, 1D, 1L, while United got only 2pts! Not bad, Not bad at all.
DB11 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 We had one poor game guys, bit of perspective here. I'm going for 1-1 Well actually we had a poor game last week as well, but somehow managed to get a result
trabuch Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 The team half assed today. A result against Man City is now imperative. No result on Tuesday makes today's loss look ever worse. Ranieri out.
