Spurs AWAY FA Cup Third Round match thread

Could be worse, positives the left side looks good. Impressed with how composed Chilwell looks and Gray has been fantastic.

Think Inler and King have been good, Kante growing into the game.

Negatives the right side looks woeful, Rose is taking us to pieces on that side.

Kasper a punch, but has looked better since.

The subs will tell us how seriously we are taking this.

If we want to win we will go to 442 bring on Mahrez for Dyer and play King in the 10 role. Simpson on for De Laet and perhaps Shinji for Ulloa.

Nathan Dyer has been awful. He has left De Laet alone against 2 or three players all the time. De Laet is actually playing quite well considering he is playing solo down the right.

Dyer is terrible - just stops running if he loses possession and is easily brushed aside when he makes a token challenge - what's happened ? We know he's a proper player

Dyer looks a different player to the start of the season.

Cant say I'm enjoying this 4-5-1 system Claudio is phasing in..

Its only for the top teams to keep us more tight at the back, we switched back to a 4-4-2 against bournemouth.

De Laet, Dyer and Inler all very, very poor and look a few yards off the pace. The defensive contribution from the entire right flank has been pretty gash all game and Inler does not look comfortable in or out of possession, again!

Claudio should be looking at introducing Drinkwater and Mahrez by 55-60mins latest, if not sooner. Need to get Ulloa involved more. Gray has looked excellent, Chilwell has had a decent game as have the CB's.

Chilwell is not ready for this level

In all the posts Ive read from you, excellent many, but aye man, hes had a good game so far...1 bad mistake, but was left

somewhat alone, just before the whistle...

Sitting back & as usual we can't keep the ball, goal out of nothing, few good bursts from Gray but not much else.

Dyer has been shit again, not giving De Laet any support whatsoever. As for others I don't think Inler has been our worst player, few good interceptions but not much else, King been ineffective until the last couple of mins, Kante not as good as he has been, Ulloa unsurprisingly doing poor on his own, needs Okazaki for support.

I want a team of Benalouane's, it's a mystery how little he's featured in our match day squads.

I'm amazed the stick he got, people wrote him off after a few games even though he done barely anything wrong, for a team that spends the majority of the games on the defensive i'm surprised he was not given more time to prove how good he is.

He's a future captain in my opinion if Drinkwater does not get it.

Dr Laet has made some important tackles, I think you're all being harsh on him.

He's constantly coming far too narrow and giving rose the freedom of London to pick a ball.

He's done a good job so far. On the left, that is...

Why he had to roam on the other side, only he'll ever know. :D

No he hasn't, he looks shaky as fook. His passing has been in reverse

Nice to have called Wasyl as a potential scorer and well worked with an excellent corner by Gray and DeLaet and King creating the space so Wasyl could connect and score in the space at the corner.

Otherwise what a mixed game. Kasper definitely at fault for the goal although you have to wonder if there was a slight deflection that made a difference. Whatever he could have caught the ball or turned it out for a corner.

Good and bad from most players and definitely encouraged by the positive attitude of Gray and his set pieces. For me we're conceding space a bit too easily and staying a bit too far off the opposition but they've certainly not had many chances so maybe the system worked.

Chilwell's shown awareness and good uncomplicated attitudes but that was a risky pass at the end of the half - delivered perfectly in the end, but....

I'd also say he given too much space to his man and that might have been capitalised on but there's a mature control there too and I'd give him a 6.5/10 so far which isn't bad. Inler started we but thereafter had an up and down half but then everyone was much the same including Wasyl whose goal more than cancelled out his iffy moments.

DeLaet too was good and bad in succession but who wasn't?

At least we've scored though and we're still in the game which is a big plus on what I thought would happen.

I think he's done a far better job on his side than De Laet on the right.
