lee7 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Daily star claims we want the lad from united on loan.
Tuna Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Daily star must think we are still in the championship.
Gerard Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Rubbish. 1) Why would we want him? 2) Man Utd aren't going to do anything that strengthens Leicester's league position.
lgfualol Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Loaning players from lower in the league teams is a weird thought
teblin Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 We have a good track record from utd. Let's not get ideas above our station and write this off. Also when did we become so big we wouldn't take a chance on a Brazilian u20 international.

Babylon Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 When he's not getting into a side that's worse than ours? Our squad contains quite a few people not considered good enough for them.
GingerrrFox Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Come on now Pereira is a good player. Comfortable behind the front man. Don't see why not, what's the risk? He may add something to the squad.
Samilktray Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Wasn't he linked with PSG and the likes back in the summer?
Charl91 Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Our squad contains quite a few people not considered good enough for them. De Laet - True, but also not really good enough for us at the moment. Simpson - Yes, but again, not the quality of player that we want to be looking at buying if we want to improve. Drinkwater - Can give you that one, but even then it took him a long time to get up to speed to be good enough. If we'd just taken him on loan for 6 months, it would have been a very poor loan spell. Matty James - Difficult to tell if he's good enough yet, not had any game time. If we were buying him as one for the future, than fair enough, but I don't see the point of a loan, unless it's with intentions to buy at a later date. I don't want us training Man united players for them.
sdb Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Why would they loan him to us?! He's in their 18 usually isn't he?
Lestoh Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Paul Pogba "wasn't good enough" for United. Just saying.

And a loan lets you take a closer look without committing.

And a loan lets you take a closer look without committing. It means they can become decent later, I agree. But my point is, what's to say that we train him up, and then United keep him? I'd only want a loan if there was an option to buy after it.

dbtcity Posted 17 January 2016 Posted 17 January 2016 Anyone else think a tabloid has got pedro pereira and this lad mixed up and just ran with it
dylanlegend Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 http://www.thesportbible.com/articles/leicester-bid-for-manchester-united-player-200116
Callabinho Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 Could be happening... Still would need a striker.
kingpower Posted 21 January 2016 Posted 21 January 2016 Not too sure on this one. At this stage of the season with so much at stake I think we need to bring in the finished article. This lad may be quality but he's not good enough to start at a struggling (by their standards) Man Utd and he is very young so although he may show flashes of brilliance he will no doubt show them on an inconsistent basis like Damarai Gray did last night. We're never going to be in a stronger position to qualify for such an amazing tournament and with guaranteed TV money coming in I think we should set the bar higher than this.
