themightyfin Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 There have been so many hailed as the next great thing over the years that have come through the ranks and for one reason or another it just didn't happen. Who can you think of as the one who was supposed to make it but never did? For me James Wesolowski had the best chance in my list and but for Injurys i think would have made a great player. Lets hope the boy Cilwell turns out better than this lot. Russell Holt Guy Branston Joe Mattock George Taft Richard Stearman Alan Sheehan James Wesolowski Stef Oakes Scott Oakes Ashley Chambers Tom Hopper Subs Adam Smith Grant Brown Ian Baraclough Ohh Tommy Wright II Pier Larrauri
Fox92 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I really liked James Wesolowski. Scored some great goals for us too. Shame about his serious injuries really, I think he could have been a good player for us and stayed he a long time like King.
TMELcfc Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Can't you add Kramaric to that? Couldn't wait to see him play, goals goals goals... Scored 4?
Fox92 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I don't know why Stearman is in that team though. Did nothing wrong for us.
stripeyfox Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Wesolowski and Tomi Petrescu were awesome on Football Manager
Vestan Pance Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Hoult had a good career as Premier League player, replace him with Logan.
Stevosevic Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Was Taft ever rated that highly? I thought he was just part of a bad bunch and was the eldest so was made captain
Stevosevic Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I don't know why Stearman is in that team though. Did nothing wrong for us. Agreed. He was fine for us at the time and has gone to have a career you would expect of a player with his ability.
themightyfin Posted 19 January 2016 Author Posted 19 January 2016 Hoult had a good career as Premier League player, replace him with Logan. My mistake i meant it never happened for us
Wolfox Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Matt Piper... Would, love to have seen him stay, develop and stay injury free
Wymsey Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Really wished Max Gradel stayed. Though, I suspect we had a crap development staff team when he was here.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 What about Kaebi Literally thought he was going to be the next Ronaldo and he was dreadful, didn't he make 2 appearances? The buzz about him was unreal.
Fox92 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I remember Kaebi's debut. I think it was Hull away. Absolute freezing afternoon and another let down performance. That video of him tackling Figo really enhanced our hopes.
Stevosevic Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Really wished Max Gradel stayed. Though, I suspect we had a crap development staff team when he was here. One of Pearson's biggest mistakes.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 The way some dicks have been speaking Mahrez?
stox259 Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I'd include Peter Taylor for manager of that side. When he took over from MON he was going to be the saviour of England's National Team. In the end he couldn't even save Gainsborough Trinity.
filbertstreet Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 you shut your mouth, george taft was too good for us
MPH Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 Didnt Stearman play in the prem for wolves after leaving us? Harshly included.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 19 January 2016 Posted 19 January 2016 I really liked James Wesolowski. Scored some great goals for us too. Shame about his serious injuries really, I think he could have been a good player for us and stayed he a long time like King. He scored two cup goals for us, neither of them particularly special.
