johnny the fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Please remember how we got where are so far... defending is great, but it is really not our bag... no criticism intended....onward and upward!

Deucalion Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 We have tried to play it tight for pretty much all the games in our 'bad' run. We need to start doing what we did well again.
NewquayFox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 For the first time this season Ranieri has to earn his money, got to pick this team up, and please return us to the exciting attacking football that we played s month ago..... Up the Titty.....
sdb Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Clearly the game plan was to keep it 0-0 until the last half hour. Not our usual team so high press isn't going to work with Ulloa, Inler et.al. Weekend wasn't great but other than that nothing suggests a change of mentality.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Ranieri is starting to put his stamp on the team sadly, deep and defensive. He is slowly killing the style that Pearson finally managed to successfully implement, and we look dog turd as a result
Corky Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 We need to start quickly. If we can get in amongst the opposition early and not let them settle then we look much better. Too often we're sitting back, letting them have the ball and gain territory and confidence. I don't want us passing the ball to death or anything like that to improve stats but getting a good feel of possession early in the match would be beneficial.
Foxxed Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Without Vardy and Mahrez on form, and not marked out of the game, who have we got to attack? Perhaps Kante and Drinky can link up with Shinji better, or have Shinji and Gray become our new attacking partnership. If, however, we press high up the pitch, and start to concede, without creating any decent chances, aren't we ****ed then also? I'd like us to play more attacking too, but trying to find a reason.
Bayfox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Kante drinky Gray marhez Okazaki vardy going forward from now on please.

EXACTLY we almost take pride in the fact we have no possession but we need to actually be able to control the ball and keep it to create chances for crying out loud, and Ranieri seems to have forgotten this
Tielemans63 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Chill out. There is literally no way we can play with the level of intensity we had been prior to the Christmas / New Year period over when playing more or less every 3 or 4 days. Factor in that Vardy has been carrying an injury and its pretty obvious Claudio has had to find another way of playing. It might not have been pretty but we've done okay over what is notoriously a brutal period.
Nod.E Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 This is Bill. Bill is a Leicester fan. Bill knows that Claudio Ranieri is far too busy meeting with his expert backroom staff to even think about reading advice addressed to him on Foxestalk. Bill chooses instead to simply debate talking points rather than addressing threads to the manager. Bill is smart. Be like Bill.
ALC Fox Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Can someone explain what Ulloa offers us?? Not a lot from what I saw tonight. He was often out of position, didn't hold the ball up well, and was rarely in a position to threaten their defence. His touch and passing we're off too. We just didn't play to his strengths enough. As a right-footer on the right side, Dyer should have been the one firing balls into the box for him, but he was another underperformer. Tonight really did show the lack of depth in the squad. Gray and Chilwell showed real promise though. 16 games left now. Time for the boys to recharge the batteries and start playing on the front foot again.
shade Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Can someone explain what Ulloa offers us?? yes I can, nothing at the moment.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Can someone explain what Ulloa offers us?? He is a great defender ... sadly only for the opposition though...
daddylonglegs Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Can someone explain what Ulloa offers us?? DONT YOU DO CRITICISE LEANARDO HE DID A GOAL LAST YEAR AT SOME STAGE I THINK AND ALSO HE CONTROLLED THE BALL THE OTHER GAME U PLASTIC GET BEHIND HIM

johnny the fox Posted 20 January 2016 Author Posted 20 January 2016 I've shot Bill. Bill is dead. So my .."lets hunt down and kill Bill with extreme prejudice" thread paid off ?.. I feel so much better about things now...
daddylonglegs Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 He did a 13 goal last season whilst helping us stay up. He has been absolutely abysmal this season. Him scoring 11 goals in the Premier League last year has no relevance now - he was just about good enough (like the rest of the team) to keep us up last year. Can you think of many worse players who consistently play in the Premier League?
