Lots of negativity and suggestions of wheels falling off and bubbles bursting and players off form. So a simple question, if we beat Stoke on Saturday will we be "back on track" and all forgiven?

Nothing to forgive.

It's 21st January and no team has more points than us, who should apologise for that?

Bournemouth - poor performance against 10 men where we shouldn't be relying on a penalty to get us the win.

Villa - Missing the penalty turned the game, but we still should have had what was needed to subdue Villa and go on and see out the victory. Taking Shinji off at 60 minutes was a v poor, negative decision, and basically showed we were happy to defend for the rest of the game.

Spurs - End to end cup game that could have gone either way up until the Dyer 'handball'. Their pen was BS though and we should by all rights have gone through.

Its not as fine as you make out, IMO.

Have you forgotten for a moment that we're Leicester City? That we've still got the likes of Morgan, Kasper and Drinkwater in our starting line up who were with us in the championship?

That we field Danny Simpson on a regular basis and get all of our goals from a non league convert?

That our best signing so far this window is a teenager from the championship?

That we just beat Tottenham at their place in the league with a comfortable clean sheet?!

We're joint top of the Premier league, are you high?!?!

I'm absolutely by no means a happy clapper but **** me I'm in dreamland at the moment, are people really starting to have the jitters because we made hard work of a very industrious Bournemouth side that just took four points off United and Everton and had an off day against Villa? Good God. This is the worst this forum has ever been. It was less embarrassing when we were shit!

Ok then for quite a while, as someone else alluded to the best chance since Wycombe, Colchester away for a place in the Quarter Finals with probably our best ever squad, it was a huge chance, we might have lost anyway but to just give it away in the way we did was extremely disappointing.

its literally not even our best chance at winning the fa cup in the last 12 months ffs

We were a shorter price for the FA Cup last night than at any point since Wycombe at home.

For the league, there is nothing to forgive.!!!!

I wont even go down the line that, this or that games are

'Must Wins'. Enjoy each game,as it comes stop chasing stars or league positions.

Let the players and managers have the stress.

I refuse to be as downbeat as most on here. It might sound obvious and been said a million times already on here but I'm still amazed at where we are in the table. I'm sure Claudio will realise how much better we looked when really attacking on the break and it won't be long before we see that again now the games aren't going to come around as fast.

I think almost irrelevant of where we'd be in the league, we'd be disappointed that those games went the way they did, and we played how we did in them.

I'm all for playing compact 'safe' football against the sides that have it in them to take you apart, like Arsenal did earlier on this season - but we've shown we are good enough (despite where our players have come from) to attack other teams like B'mouth and Villa. I'm not saying we'd steamroll them, but to go out with that negative mindset into those games seems ludicrous and wouldn't have been something we'd have done in November.

You can have an opinion that we didn't play well enough in certain games, and be unhappy at that, and still think that we're having overall one of our best ever seasons you know.

Haven't even voted - ridiculous thread! Nothing to forgive, I'm sure Ranieri knows what he's doing. He couldn't legislate for Mahrez's casual penalty miss at Villa on Saturday or that dodgy penalty against us that robbed us of the first FAC win at Spurs. Our play hasn't been so enterprising as earlier on in the season admittedly but that is largely down to the need to rest the likes of Vardy and Mahrez, while prevent injuries and fatigue/burn out of the key players.....form and a style of play which, as many have already said, is not sustainable over the course of an entire season for our size of squad.

Some people are never grateful, especially in the position we're in.

If where we are doesn't make you happy, you're either not a fan and/or a troll.

Clearly, we're eyeing top 4/3/2/1 and the FA Cup can be taken seriously if we stay where we are; these days money is more importance to clubs and the PL position is clearly a lucrative position where we are currently.

Because of course, no one is capable of feeling over the moon at our season so far but disappointed in how we've been playing recently.

I'd be ecstatic if I got to sleep with Rachel Riley every night, but I'd still be annoyed if she pissed over the bathroom floor every so often.

Guessing those 4 votes are the ones who are ripping us for recent form...

FA cup has turned out to be a negative distraction. Back to our first team on Sat and winning ways I hope!

Depends on how we play. A free flowing, all out attacking draw would leave me happy.

Scruffy wins may be enough to see us over the line but I'd rather us take it to the opposition.

As others said its more down to performance. However I feel a win is also needed pretty badly, not just for the points on this occasion, but more to get some confidence back in that style.

I'm actually more confident after that Spurs game that we'll revert back to be honest. Though most the play was long ball in the first half but Gray and Chilwell had some good ball-on-the-ground play throughout that half and were the only players to credit themselves. Hoping for a Gray start against Stoke and a return to pre-Christmas Leicester City :)

Some people have short memories, this time last year we were certain to go down, the most optimistic supporter would have been sectioned thinking we would stay up at this stage, a dip in form and negative people lose their heads...enjoy the ride, we're safe which was the primary target pre season and to achieve it so early after the pre season e.g thailand, new manager then the 'jap' incident is quite frankly amazing! In conclusion there is nothing to be forgiven
