Jfox90 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 F'in brilliant result from the lads, the energy, higher pressing and improved passing definitely was the catalyst today, could give motm to 4 or 5 but kantes overall performance and danny simpsons 2 crucial headers to keep it at nil nil are the standout. Really happy for drinky to get his overdue goal, vards back on the scoresheet, and much better performances from leo and riyad after the scrutiny of late on the pair, COYB
yorkie1999 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Leaving 3 men up at their corners completly mind fvcked stoke.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Mahrez's elastico-nutmeg.... https://vine.co/v/ielPj5xhgBt https://streamable.com/hv12 And I thought the rumours of signing Ronaldinho came to nowt...
HankMarvin Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 What a game and great result. Our passing and fast attacks are back. We looked great today. Vardy back on the score sheet. KANTE........ What a a player he is. Doesn't stop running.

Thracian Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 So pleased for Drinkwater. Danny doesn't fail to score goals because he can't shoot but because he either doesn't shoot, doesn't shoot on target or doesn't get into enough positions to shoot. Today he shot, hit the target and scored. He followed up with an assist to add to his effectiveness and those are the sort of things that will really set him apart as a midfielder because no-one doubts his basics. Pleased too for Mahrez who had the weight of penalty responsibility lifted off his shoulders, refocused his mind and returned to being the Mahrez no defender can feel comfortable against - and what a third goal he created to round it off. Pleased finally for Ulloa our all too easily dismissed striker but a man who perfectly capable of scoring if given the chance. No that's not meant to suggest we don't need at least one other striker - we do. Because there's simply not enough backing even if all our existing strikers keep playing to their best potential. Today only emphasised our need to continue doing what we know and do best - attacking. And we need to do that whether all our players are fit or not because performances such as tyhe one against Villa won't win us anything. I know we're 10 points clear of Manchester United but thinking of them is just lowering our sights from the target which really does our team justice - staying ahead of Arsenal. We should think of how many points we can lose but about making it harder and harder for our opponents to keep up. Fabulous day, cracking result and achieved in a manner that should surely set the standard for the rest of our season.
AyewJoking Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 must be demoralising for manc and arse to watch us keep getting results
49er Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Thought that Danny Simpson had another solid performance, including a vital header when Diouf was getting ready to score. Credit to him for the way he has turned things around after the unfortunate issue last year. Take a bow Danny!
My Nads Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Who watches garth crooks? BBC is shite at final score or whatever it is. I though the same thing. SSN is free and yesterday the woman said "wank" live on air! Thought that Danny Simpson had another solid performance, including a vital header when Diouf was getting ready to score. Credit to him for the way he has turned things around after the unfortunate issue last year. Take a bow Danny! His best game for us so far. I wonder if the new arrival has had anything to do with that?
Wycombe Fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Who'd have thought we'd be having six-pointers against Man City and Arsenal in February?
HankMarvin Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Lordy lord. doesn't look as spectacular, when you see him scuff the shot
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 What a result. There aren't many teams that would beat Stoke 3-0. Unbelievable.
Ghost Troop Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Yep, Stoke were well below their best, but we went for them from the off and kept the energy levels high and remained on the front foot throughout. They may have had a bad day, but I'm sure we had plenty to do with that. Saw a bit self belief and confidence thats been rather sparse on some recent occasions.
Raw Dykes Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I'm over the moon. I would have been happy to just have seen the team play well again, but to get 3 goals and a clean sheet is so much more than I could have asked. Great to see Vardy get on the scoresheet again. Hopefully our wobble is behind us now, although the next three games are very tricky, on paper at least. If we can get through those relatively unscathed, then we'll be set up to have a really good go at doing something unthinkable. What a time to be a Leicester fan. This is mindblowing.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 What a result. There aren't many teams that would beat Stoke 3-0. Unbelievable. Absolutely, and we dismantled them like an elite club would. Such a difference to when they relegated us to league one

I wonder if the new arrival has had anything to do with that? Also, Okazaki and Fuchs were impressive. Fuchs is such a solid and intelligent defender, and seems a real team player. Rather like Wazilewski, he seems to have a fan club that follows him. I came across some of these after the Arsenal match.
