foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Not that I want to be a party pooper but also worth noting their 3 best players weren't playing after 30 mins And we dismantled them for it
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 A little pissed as 8m writing so bare with.. Surely one of the best wins of the season today? We gave them nowt, sussed them out, then hit. Very professional win.. They were all great but Kante and Drinks in that second half!! Different bloody class!
americanfox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 When I saw Kante I thought I'd never seen a player quite like that. Imagine if Makalele had a more mobile, fitter brother, who's passing was far more ambitious and skilful, and who got forward a lot more. He's like that! So I'm prepared to say it, borderin on world class. Why not? he is looking like as good as any midfielder in the Prem. Seems mean to only mention him, but I could bang on for hours about this squad, so I won't! I'm ecstatic with the result, we played so well all over the park. Some of Kante's passing/technique/first touch could definitely improve, but if he was ready there, he'd be at Real Madrid/Barca/PSG and not with us. So now that we have him, he can be awesome at all of those things too Completely different types of sprints. Vardy makes quite a few potentially 20 yard, powerful sprints whereas Albrighton will make 5 yard sprints to close players down. Kante on the other hand has to be excluded from this argument as he is just mind-boggling, unhuman. Completely agree. (cheers!)

You are right, one chance they had all game... we did a number and it was with flair. The Leicester pre xmas but with a defence... That should worry man city and Arsenal
suffolk fox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Have to admit after the dismal FA cup exit I was seriously concerned. Today someone welded the wheels back onto the bus. Great performance against a tough team. Glad to have been so wrong. Just need to keep a good gap between us and 5th. People like you make me laugh. You do realise that was our reserves we played in the cup?
justfoxes Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Thank fook for that usual cracking performances are back !! Great to see one of Drinky's screamers go in at last and great to see Vards get back to scoring along with a great performance off the bench from Leo and also Mahrez getting back to his best that nutmeg for Leo's goal was an absolute sublime piece of footwork !! Can't forget the back four today also and KASPER catching balls rather than punching them another great performance between the sticks big man !! And what can we say about Ngolo Kante that lad ran the Stoke players ragged the lad is just awesome we must try and find another gem in the French lower leagues as this guy is just unbelievable!! A couple of more tough games to come the Gooners and Man City we can beat those !! Onwards and upwards and we could defy all the odds !! Well done King Claudio our saviour !!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Vardy, that was a goal of a world class player... smoothly takes it around the keeper and feeds it in... 1m we are awesome
foxfanazer Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Over the moon with this one. I have to admit I had a few doubts creeping in but if we play in this positive manner we're nailed on for top 4 and god knows what after that. Delighted Vardy scored and hopefully picks up again now. Drinky was due a goal after coming close in recent weeks and Ulloa performed well in a 4-4-2. Wouldn't swap Kante and Drinkwater for any other premiership midfield pairing at the moment
Leicesterpool Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Really proud of the guys today, it was good all round performance where every member that played didn't put a foot wrong. We were so much in control today and to be fair we were up against usually a tough Stoke team, but this afternoon they were made to look awful. So pleased that both Vardy and Ulloa found the net once again.
Great Boos Up Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 I prayed we would finish where stoke now are pre season - 9th, and we still only had 45% possession. At times I thought give them the ball back, were all out of shape for a counter. Ranieri did have a great game plan and Stoke payed us some cautious respect. But I have to say; we leaned so much from the Stoke games last season on how to win.

Recent games we did that and they looked dangerous, today was back to pre xmas leicester, press high up and when we win it they are in serious trouble
CosbehFox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Thought that Danny Simpson had another solid performance, including a vital header when Diouf was getting ready to score. Credit to him for the way he has turned things around after the unfortunate issue last year. Take a bow Danny! Shame he suffers from Koncheskyitis with pointless punts up the field
Dan Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 We were superb. That was exactly what was needed following some disappointing performances. We got better the longer it went on and were better than them in every single department. Drinkwater my MOTM today, followed by Kante. Delighted the former finally has a Premier League goal.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Shame we got a week off, we could really do with keeping the momentum
Bluetintedspecs Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 The whole team were outstanding. Kante and Drinky though....wow! The highlight for me today is not having to read negative, kneejerk bs
Father Ted Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 What a difference it makes when you press high up the pitch. That's all I want to say.
Socks Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 we were great today and looked energetic and in control again. Rather than play like a tired chasing team we actually bossed it, stoke were no threat at all. Vardys goal was class. i honestly think this was part of CR's tactics over the past 5 games, rest the team we looked rested and attacked really well, whilst also defending well, Simpson is SO underated Stoke were fvcking shite though. Shaqiri ? what an absolute crock of shite. ppl say we are a one/two man team but if stoke think that shawcross going off was the end of them then they should look in the mirror, ****ing tossers the lot of em CR pounded MH's managerial ass well and truly today
Matt Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Shame we got a week off, we could really do with keeping the momentum Swings are roundabouts, I agree about keeping momentum but also see the rest as a positive, especially when Liverpool have got 2 games in that time and are thin on the ground with players as it is. Gonna be horrible with no game next week though!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Brilliant today. F**k the bubble. I want "F**k the bubble" to be the new #Fearless, all around the ground
thebluefox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Shame he suffers from Koncheskyitis with pointless punts up the field to be fair most of those are when its on his left foot though.
Izzy Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 CR pounded MH's managerial ass well and truly today The Italian Stallion
