Jose Mourinho also never had a bad word to say about Rémy's work ethic, and neither did Harry Redknapp. There, I said it. Rémy's just had some injuries and the buy-out clauses he's had in his contracts probably were there to afford a few parties some protection. It was absolutely worth the gamble for Chelsea last season, but they're obviously in a much different situation this year and have to consider making serious changes to their squad at all positions. Just to be clear, I'm not accusing any individual FTer of being racist and I want Rémy to be given a fair shake if this supposed transfer goes through. Personally, I think he's an excellent striker and a good fit for our counterattacking style if he's fit. And I have no problem with him playing clubs like Ashley's Newcastle and the "Five Year Plan"/ Harry-era QPR like fiddles in a transfer. But I've already said a lot in this thread and caused a mini firestorm that I would have rather not have done. Sorry y'all. So with that, I'll stop the posting unless a random stroke of fate gives me some ITK knowledge. You're right in one thing... No specific name mentioned. Doesn't make your comment any less moronic.

Dan Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 More than that - when he joined QPR, Newcastle were in for him and had a bid accepted by all reports, but he didn't turn up for talks, then signed for QPR when they were offering stupid money (a club who he had said he wasn't interested in). The immediate take-away from that would be money orientated (and I'd question the professionalism of someone who just didn't turn up for talks - not even say he wasn't interested, just not turn up). This was my thinking as well. I don't worry that one player could disrupt a dressing room as tight as ours, in-fact I'd say it's more likely to change him, IF there's anything wrong of course.
