Nuge Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Because he would turn up to sign contracts in Chelsea's full kit. Jesus wept.

Wymsey Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Wonder if his agent has said anything about this speculation, hence a trustworthy source unlike some on bloke being mentioned on here.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Thought we paid around 800k for him, a bargain but could have got him for a fraction of that. In Muzzys book he says before he left initially in loan (with a view to a perm) that Chelsea made him sign a contract - thus increasing what they could get for him.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 You'll find out this afternoon when Chelsea play if any offer has been accepted. If he plays then the answer is no, if he doesn't play he may be moved on but doesn't necessarily mean us. To be honest I can only see a loan deal working, as it has been well documented he was on £80k a week at QPR and he will probably be on more than that at Chelsea. So it would be a real upset the applecart if he came in on double what any city player is currently on.
Raw Dykes Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Least all this madness ends in a few days The window closes tomorrow night, doesn't it? Looking forward to it. Hopefully we'll get a decent striker, but I'll be glad if we can just keep the squad as it is.
FoxinNotts Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Musa coming, Remy deal loan only. Can't see it. Why would we want three dejected strikers at our club? Two at any one time, yes, but not three.
john ridley Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Sky says he's not playing due to calf injury.

Remy has, "a minor calf strain"; if he doesn't play (or on the bench), all Chelsea will say is that he was injured. I don't think his NOT playing will indicate he's on his way (to us, or of course, to anyone else - we know there are a few interested - particularly Newcastle). If he DOES play, or is on the bench, I would think it's a fair bet he will be staying at Chelsea.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Sky says he's not playing due to calf injury. The old fake injury before a transfer
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2016 Posted 31 January 2016 Sky says he's not playing due to calf injury. Which the world knew about last Monday so nothing to be deduced about their squad today. Only 36 hours to go before dodoo becomes our 'go to man'
