desertfox2 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Joey Barton has been such a huge cnut at many times during his career that calling him a cnut actually sounds like a rather mild insult for him. Barton's gotten up to things that only a rather tiny amount of footballers have done, so he's very much an outlier, almost on his own level, and not a good example to use as a comparison to anybody. I don't think you know what "stats" are. Costa then he's a cnut... or half a cnut on the previous logic. Ashley Cole full cnut but he's black so i'll give him that one. Ravel Morrisons one and Powell too seems like a mixed bag of cnuts
Ricey Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Ben Jacobs may well be right, but I've always suspected that he's so desperate to be ITK that he takes a rumour and adds a bunch of details to it that he's allegedly heard. Somehow, despite being a small-time journalist in Dubai he knows exactly how much bids are worth and the opinions of the scouting team and player at any time. Also, this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1221150/Suspended-The-naked-sports-broadcaster-suspected-Radio-5-Live-f-word-sabotage.html
Nalis Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 ****in hell I really wish we had a match today instead of wasting time ping ponging between this thread and the Musa thread all day.
desertfox2 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 That certainly isn't a conventional attempt at humour in my eyes. I was commenting on poor attitudes and laziness, not how many other players have good attitudes and aren't lazy, it was a poor attempt at suggesting I was pigeon holing African players. Well I did say warped....
Wymsey Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Bloody hell, just wish he signs so we can talk about his abilities and not what he looks like ethnically.
Jordan Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Bloody hell, just wish he signs so we can talk about his abilities and not what he looks like ethnically.I, too, would like Loïc Rémy to be judged by the quality of his football instead of as "lazy" or "not a team player" without much evidence that it is so.
Foxy_jim Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Spurs signing Moussa Dembele. Honestly I'd prefer we got someone young like Musa! Thats just greedy. TWO moussa dembeles now at spurs. Both from Fulham too._._._. You couldn't make it up.
formidable1 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Wtf happened to this threadNothing really, just the Liberals got a bit hot under the collar.
WesMorganGod Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Remy is awful, wouldn't take him for free. the guy has nothing about him. would be a bad signing. we have a perfect team spirit in out club, thats one of the main reasons we are doing so well. Remy would not fit in at all and he is really not that good.
weller54 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Thats just greedy. TWO moussa dembeles now at spurs. Both from Fulham too._._._. You couldn't make it up. We signed two massive bellies once.... GTF!

Remy would not fit in at all and he is really not that good. How do you know Remy isn't a smiley happy great guy to be around? He could be the perfect fit. He's always seemed very grounded to me, a hard worker and trustworthy goalscorer. He was integral to Chelsea's season last year, scoring some very important late goals in games they won by a single goal margin. I would'nt call him awful.
foxes21 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 That Ben Jacobs is desperate to be known as a reliable source. He knows nothing.

None of us can say for certain what kind of personality the lad has, but it astonishes me that some of you actually think he's not very talented. What am I saying - of course it doesn't astonish me, this is FoxesTalk, home of the retarded knee-jerk all or nothing opinion.
Harry - LCFC Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 If Loïc Rémy were white, there would be no myths about him not being a team player. Jose Mourinho also never had a bad word to say about Rémy's work ethic, and neither did Harry Redknapp. There, I said it. Rémy's just had some injuries and the buy-out clauses he's had in his contracts probably were there to afford a few parties some protection. It was absolutely worth the gamble for Chelsea last season, but they're obviously in a much different situation this year and have to consider making serious changes to their squad at all positions. Would you care to explain how you know race has shaped other people's opinions? Or are you just using this as an opportunity to show off to yourself how wonderfully moral you are? It's hardly uncommon for white players to have their attitude questioned so I've no idea how you can claim to know Remy would be treated differently if he were white
chapero82 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 If it was true surely there would be more reports by now, still not a thing from Sky
MPH Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I, too, would like Loïc Rémy to be judged by the quality of his football instead of as "lazy" or "not a team player" without much evidence that it is so. Those are important aspects in what we do at Leicester. Work ethic and contributions to team Play. So that's what people are going to comments on? If you want every comment backed up with evidence then where is your evidence it's to do with color that people ( plural) are basing that on? Sorry Jordan, but you've had an absolute mare, here...

MPH Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Ron Atkinson would be able to tell you how he is perceived , I have no doubt about that! If you use certain words and phrases that are racist, you have a right to be judged by them. If you don't use those phrases, you don't. It's very simple.

Gerard Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I wonder if this Ben Jacobs guy has been paid by Leicester or fed false information so the Russians get twitchy? Leicester may have told the Russians that this is our final offer and although Musa is our first choice we will look elsewhere. This Remy story seems strange as it's not really moving on and hasn't been confirmed by the clubs. I'm probably wrong but just thinking out loud.

Remy may well be our 2nd choice, but it's definitely a bargaining chip we are using to get the Russians to agree to our offers. Not worked yet though.
formidable1 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 What a tiresome, waste of Bandwith. I'm ignoring you but couldn't just ignore you. I needed to mention it!

Not worked yet though. How so certain of it being a bargaining chip? Could it not just be that both tick the boxes, so trying for both increases the chances of getting either or both? Pseudo football agents a plenty on here.
